- True-crime fans found major evidence in the search for missing Missouri college student Riley Strain. His bank card was located by the side of the Cumberland River in Tennessee. Believe it or not, it wasn't found by cops but by two citizen sleuths. Nashville police have confirmed the bank card belongs to Strain. Brandy Baenen showed Inside Edition’s Megan Alexander where she and her friend Anna found Strain’s card.
You found it by the river, he’s probably in the river.
You don't say! 😮 Whatever made you think of that, that's brilliant.
@@sootie989r u dense? They were obviously joking
@@sootie989Lmao just stop bro… you weren’t
Check the water asap
They have been checking the water every day. Riley's body has undoubtedly been submerged. Eventually it will start to float.
Great idea! I bet the police would have never thought of that.
Sue the fraternity.
Nah call that one RUclips channel adventures with a purpose or something they have found many cold case victims easily
Looks like eventually, not far, the river leads to a dam.
He has crappy friends. Someone should have made sure that everyone was together.
What about the cop? Didn't he react on how drunk Riley was? Why didn't the cop suggest to at least take him home if not to the hospital? Btw, Riley got kicked out of the place and the friend got stuck paying the bill. When he finally got out he didn't know where Riley was. Maybe he didn't have any phone on him? I don't know.
@@Readysetgo2007because there’s about a hundred people as drunk as him out at the same time. It’s not even a little uncommon.
@@jeanroger4738 He couldn't even walk straight. Would probably fail that sobriety test.
Weren't they a Fraternity? Just bought friends rather than real ones
@@jamalwilburn228 I believe they only gave him one friend for company and I guess they put it on him to pay. So while the friend was paying Riley wandered off after being thrown out. They could have let one of them who stayed pay so the friend could have gone out right away. Cause now we don't even know where Riley went. And yeah, the cop he met wasn't that helpful either.
Sadly I think he's at the bottom of that lake
It's a river, but yes.
He likely drowned in the river. Hopefully that’s not the case
💀
Why would his credit be on the ground. Do you have to pay to get in the river?
@@TheAdventuresOfDanStudios whats funny?
@@shipwreck8847 i know of people who carry their cards in their pockets without a wallet. Maybe washed ashore?
@@shipwreck8847 some people carry their cards in their pocket without a wallet. Could have washed to the shore
Alcohol is more dangerous than marijuana…
Yes and no. Depends on the person. But Marijuana can also induce schizophrenia and bipolarism. Anything that alters your mindset is dangerous.
Alcohol is the #1 most destructive drug.
@@grungeera4561I don’t think this is even remotely true lmao
@@drphilegg9578 is def true. not even close.
@@drphilegg9578I mean there’s a lot more dangerous drugs. But compared to the population the number of people doing hard drugs is significantly less than alcohol. The most destructive available is tobacco. Alcohol is number 2 (in terms of death per year)
He’s more than likely dead unfortunately
That's what I think sad
10 days and he still hasn't shown up? Yeah.. he's no longer breathing rip
Looks like he went for a swim..
alcohol does some crazy things
No I support drinking moderately
Alcohol? Doubt it was that . He must of been drugged or took something he wasn’t supposed to
@@eldermcnamara3631it’s definitely alcohol, seeing that cctv footage reminds me of many drunk walks home from the bar
@@eldermcnamara3631or maybe he did drink a ton of alcohol before leaving but it didn’t hit him till he left
Yeah. If you drink too much of alcohol.
Yeah, he's gone. He's in the river. Happens far too often.
Ive been saying since day 1 he most likely drowned in the river and floated away... dont need to be a detective to put the pieces together yall...
Why would JUST his credit card be laying there? That doesn't make sense.
@@Adam.Langton Fell out of his pocket.
@@Adam.Langton I mean I literally don't even own a wallet I just put my card and ID in my pocket
Actually, you do. Don’t go congratulating yourself on your detective work just yet
@@ConqueredIt looked like the kid was wearing blue jeans, and those pockets can be taunt, especially on a skinny person. I wouldn't see how a card can accidentally fall out unless he pulled the card out while drunk.
Looks like Riley’s leaving some clues for us to find.
He was pretty inhebirated, as intriguing of a story as “leaving clues” would be it’s more likely they kicked him out of the bar and he quickly grabbed his card and loosely stuck it in his pocket. When he tripped into the river his card fell out.
@@TheALLVEGAS Did he actually want to enter the river? This is weird. 😕
Bein drunk is really really dangerous especially if youre alone or drivin. Ive stopped drinkin so long ago and dont miss it. Wish ppl would realize that it isnt worth it also that they shouldnt leave their drunk friends alone ever😕
My son and my daughter had friends who left them when they were drunk. I despise drinking
It happens, if everyone is drunk then it’s pretty damn easy to get separated, good way to prevent that? Have a sober friend around but that almost isn’t always an option when going out
Does @bbygrlpt2 have a shortage of letters? Looks like someone else has been drinking!

This happens every few years in the town where I went to college. Some people think it's a serial killer, but it's alcohol.
I really hope that they find him.
Oh, they'll find him. But probably not alive.
Yeah he's definitely in the water smh
This is all very familiar. Had a similar situation in Baltimore. Girl went missing in the evening near the harbor after partying for her birthday. Drunk. Friends seperated from her. Personal items found near the waterfront. Body found a few days later in the harbor. Let's hope this has a different outcome.
I’m from Baltimore and I know this exact story. So sad!
sounds the closest to what everything’s pointing towards sadly, but i also can’t help but think possibly foul play was involved. haven’t heard the entirety of the case yet but having the card near the river alone somewhat gives off one was trying to discard it
Sadly he is most likely dead, if he was alive he would have already been back by now.
Didn’t have a different outcome, he was found dead in a river an hour ago. Sad
It doesn’t take a genius to know he’s somewhere in the river….
Well we’re hoping that’s not the case but… 😔
Have a bad feeling this will not end well and this story has a sad ending smh
She never expected the police to be so clueless and brainless that they wouldn't have thought to do the obvious. Inspect the location that he was last seen for any clues. Sometimes professionals act like amateurs and I'm that that more and more in my daily life.
Police did check that location, but obviously not thoroughly enough. A debit card is small enough that it could easily have avoided detection amidst a huge pile of rocks along a riverside.
The first wrong was to not drive him home or to a hospital. A police officer did come across him while he was alive for sure, like was told in this video.
Once I remember hearing of a person going missing, I want to say it was a small child…… An expert came in and tossed a pumpkin into the river and watched to see where it floated down to. He noticed that the pumpkin didn’t come out at the end, so therefore it had snagged somewhere along the river /stream…they searched the whole river until they found the pumpkin in a big stick pile and under the stick pile and ice is where they had found the person who had been missing.
That’s a good idea ngl
Genius and I'm going to remember this if ever, God forbid, someone around here has a similar fate, maybe this could help find them sooner. Thank you for sharing this. 🙏🏻😓💜🕊️
Is it that hard to ask a scuba diver and literally search the body UNDER WATER???
It's been 10 fing days.
That's if a bull shark hasn't eaten him yet
Does the word river mean anything to you? His body could literally be miles away.
He fell in a river. They're not finding him until he starts floating
My guess is that his balancing was off while walking near the shore, he lost his footing and tumbled into the river followed by him drowning
CHECK THE WATER

Blessings and prayers to Riley and His Family. 🙏🙏🙏
This is getting weird' cause he is like the forth teenager so far that's missing in the past 6 months.
Can't imagine the parents anguish... hopefully he is found safe..
God bless those girls. And god bless this family. I hope and pray that they find answers sooner rather than later 🙏 😕
All this stuff leading up is reminding me of the movie Searching
What awful friends to leave someone by themselves drunk in a city you’re not from.
It wasn't a credit card; it was a debit card. It fell out of Riley's pocket as he fell to his death along the steep embankment.
That's what I was saying to myself. I live in Missouri & my local newstation said it was his debit card.
Thank you. I could not figure it out.
Omg it’s not a credit card, it’s a debit card!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for that important clarification 😂
@@int_int_int_int_int_int_int I don't understand why they said it was a credit card when my local newstation said debit card. Like people have & use debit cards too.
time to get the underwater drone
I think he's dead he probably drowned in the river while being drunk.
Yeah I believe it. There's a difference between people searching because it's their job vs out of pure compassion
where were his brothers????
🤔... fraternity...
He has Most Likely Drowned someone whos under the influence can not do well alone swimming by them selfs
I think at this point it’s obvious
So sad ❤
Agreed.
God bless his family, couldn’t imagine going through that
My heart sank the minute i heard it was found by the river bank.
RIP. 🙏
Very sad that this has happened
I hope he's still alive 😢🙏🏾
Sad to say but rip Riley god bless your soul I hope his body is recovered
His dead beat friends should feel ashamed of themselves.
Riley seemed to have good interaction with the cop. Attentive and aware at least.
Oh gawd this is so sad 😢 I always make sure to stay on call with my friends in Uber and when they reach home I FaceTime them after a night out !
I’ve said it since day 1, I don’t think he’s going to be found alive.
Kinda sad to know he walked off alone by himself with no one to care enough to watch over him and protect him. What a lonely death (if he indeed already passed)
This is like the Missing young men chronicle cases of the Charles river in Boston from 2010-17.
R.I.P young man
Check the river, ASAP.
Praying that Riley is alive and safe.
Same thing just happened in Stockton
Yeah he’s in the water RIP
In the river. He fell off that high bridge abutment above where his card was found. Drifted downstream at least 20 miles by the time he was reported missing 16 hours later.
If his credit card near river, you be better to check under water…
I have a feeling he will not be found UGH I feel so sad. Gosh. This breaks my heart
Why would the bartender just throw him out???? And his friends??? Wow. Awful.
Very interesting
They'll find his body, he isn't alive, that river is a clue if the card was found near the river, it's likely he fell in and drowned. Get boaters out there and look around, you'll find him.
@AdventuresWithPurpose, if you see this, please check the water for this young man ASAP.
I'm praying that he didn't drown
So his card just flopped out of pocket? Seems Nefarious to me!
My belongings grow legs and walk out of my pockets when I’m drunk Im surprised his card made it that far with him lol.
Damn I was hoping he was not near water :/
Poor fella. Stay away from alcohol, kids.
Ah man. Thats not good news
Very sad, he is probably in the water. I knew someone who died this way, was also intoxicated late at night and ended up falling into a river and drowning.
They'll find his body tomorrow...☹️
Because of the media, If someone offed him, that person might move his body
Something doesn’t add up.
1. He had only one drink and two waters?
2. He’s friends left him outside and went back inside?
3. He stumbled drunk (on just one drink) and ALMOST fell into the water at one point
4. His credit card was found by the waters edge by reports indicate college students.
5. Police already say foul play isn’t expected.
I am not expert but seems to hard to believe even if he was dunk on one drink he would be that drunk to just go missing especially drowning. I feel something else had to be involved somehow.
if they dont end up finding the body in the river, it's possible the credit card was planted there to divert authorities attention
It said that had drinks before going to this bar in other news articles
Others I read said he only had one.@@jenniferhennessy28
Yes, but why and who?@@vicbiz1660
1 don’t drink if you don’t know how to control yourself, 2 don’t go out drinking with fake friends 🙄 i hope he’s safe keep i’ll him in my prayers 🙏🏽😢

In the USA how many young frat boys do u think get super wasted on a night out? I'd say that number would be very high. It's common. Unfortunately sometimes accidents happen. No one is to blame
These women have something to do with the disappearance
Right next to the water. I wonder where he could have gone 🤔
Yea he’s long gone, trust me on this one.
I think it walked all the way to Tennessee
His body likely drifted away in the water
Bro was drunk it was dark didn’t see where he was going fell in he ain’t missing they just to damn lazy to recover his body
He's probably busting rails held up in a room somewhere
Call Adventurers with Purpose! I know a body is different than a vehicle but it’s something.
Sad he is gone condolences to his family 😢❤
Why would he need to be killed? He posed no threat. He’s alone. Stealing his cellphone would mean it could be traced/ pinged. Using his card could be traced if it was used. I don’t think he has was robbed. He probably had to urinate or vomit and stumbled in the grass/trees, and slid down the embankment. The phone and watch both went out service at the same time. His last text to a girl was “good lops”.
likely tried to use the bathroom somewhere he wouldn’t be seen
He gonna float up
They did it
I don't know why but I thought it was THE ONION xDD
It's time to ban water
He’s in that body of water
Heart-breaking to see him greet the police officer knowing he could have just spent a night in the drunk tank instead. But no way the cop could have known.
He doesn’t appear distressed either. He appears very coherent and calm
I wish the cop would have noticed something!!! He would have helpdd😢
Was that video on that red truck broken? 😅
Check the river
They didnt plant that card for video, did they?? Why only a bank card?
I pray Riley didn't drown. 😟
Check the water. Its a possibility he might be in there.
Bro is 6’7. He too tall to be lost.
I feel this is going to be one of those freak accident cases. Where he fell down the ledge and either broke his neck or drowned due to him being intoxicated. People will blame the cops for not doing anything. Sure they can charge him with public intoxication, but he wasn't bothering anyone.
I believe the card was left behind at the bar and was tossed there later.
definitely drowned, check the water
If the cops don't check the water after this, then they're just being lazy. The mom should hire professional divers.
Yep, he fell in the water. Anytime i hear of a drunk person going missing, its water or a dumpster
"believe it or not, it wasn't found by cops!" lmao
anyone who knows anything about disappearances knows that this is how it always goes.
also lol @ the cop who said he "didn't appear distressed" when he was obviously blackout drunk. good job officer, thank you for all your help
What was that cop suppose to do? Search him? Arrest him? The officer had no reason to suspicious of any criminal activity to do anything.
And this is not how it always goes. You hear about 3 cases on RUclips and suddenly you just know how everything works
Hmmmmm according to the investigator that place been check thoroughly by hundred of police officers since day 1 of his disappearance and nobody found anything until 8 days with the 2 tiktokers really found it. and the Investigator also said that its been raining for sometimes, yet the card is spotless no dirt and no marks that's been wet. Hmmmmmm "UNTIL" shoutout to Nashville.
