He was such a good musician! Made it look so easy! What he lacked in physical prowess and height he more than made up for in musical talent, charisma, and a genuine concern for people. Seems that kids who go thru hardship are often far more compassionate and resilient than the spoiled brats who have every material and educational advantage handed to them on a gilded platter. Every good, kind person I know has faced significant sorrows in life. Not surprisingly, Dudley is another example.
I dont know if kids would of been exited by Dudley Moore or even know much about him in 1990 Dagenham I wonder if that was staged. I was a kid in 1990 and grew up just the other side of the water and no kids would of hyped over him or even knew who he was.

One of the best British performers sadly missed should have been Sir Dud and Sir Pete, great too see him embracing his Dagenham roots
