2017 Zuma crank bearing noise

I believe the rattling noise you can hear is coming from crank bearings going bad. After this video I removed the belt and variator, and the noise remains. So it cannot be rattling rollers.

Worn variator ramp plate. The ramp sliders have worn down which is making the ramp plate move side to side. If the crank bearings are bad. The crank will have movement. Wiggle the variator. If the variator moves or has play then the crank bearings are definitely bad..

You install new rollers recently? If you have bought rollers that don’t fit snug in their channels in the variator they can wiggle left and right and make this noise.

I have a similar sound with my Honda Elite 110. Were you able to figure it out?

If it wasn't my 5 day a week only way to work and I thought I could do it in 2 days I would. Issue is I know first time that deep in this motor by myself it would take a week. A week I don't have.

@@cyrusatkinson3307 be more confident lol. Keep doing some research and check videos, forums etc. order the parts and have at it. Have it diagnosed by someone else and see what they say if you’re not sure, price might not be that bad. Do the math and make it work 🫠
