What a great bike ride. The beautiful Southern California coast is a great backdrop. Venice Beach has always fascinated me. And the Santa Monica Pier looks like a lot of fun. Thanks for takings us along for the ride!

Many of our journeys are in the morning. We know we can't avoid people, but we try to minimize our interactions :) The Pier was much much busier especially at night. That was the best. LOL we're going to rent a side-car thing for Zeus on a trip later this year. I cannot imagine Otis in one! Otis should pull you!
A true iconic place, wonderful ride my friends. The beach is very beautiful and I loved those moments at muscle beach. The food at Venice Ale House looked delicious👍
We use a GoPro - I think this was the 8 - we have a 10 now. I bought a GoPro handlebar mount. The internal stabilization is in the camera. It makes us look better than we are 😂😂😂 - but thank you 😊
Question - is it silly to do a bike from Santa Monica Pier to Los Angeles Cruise Terminal? Or do you get enough of the sites just from doing Santa Monica to Venice Beach?
I can’t answer that since we aren’t locals and haven’t done that, but I’ve watched videos of people biking the whole strand. It looks really fun to be honest. We only did that portion because we wanted to come back and enjoy downtown and the pier.
When was this filmed? Twenty some years ago? Where are all the tent cities and wasted humanity. And lets not forget the violence and drugged out heroin junkies?
