    I watched this video back in May when I was buying this bike from Williams! So happy with it, I’ve added nearly 2k miles to it, no issues, more than enough power to have a bit of fun. It is the low suspension and seat version, perfect for me at 5’6. Great review by the way!

    So, Kind of an odd story since you were talking about the XR. I just traded my '19 XR for a '22 750GS. Had a 150 mile ride back home with it, your immpressions were spot on. The motor is absolutly exceptional and the windscreen has to go. Im 5'5 and this bike fits like it was made for me. it wasnt long in the saddle and I felt completey at ease with this bike. very easy to ride and manage. I have the ESA so I didnt notice any soft suspention feel. I liked the XR for completely different reasons but I love this GS so far. It's good enough I dont miss the XR and that actually says a lot... great review.

    bmw cancelled the 24' model for Asia; leaving the new 800s on a 750gs body with 10 hp more.; and higher $. So we still have the heavier bike for 2 up riding /// consider what else. ?

    I can see it has the extra low seat. Since it doesn’t have the Dynamic ESA it probably has the factory low chassis too. ESA isn’t available with the low chassis.

    It's not a bike that would float my boat but this was a good honest first impressions review of it for those who do have a fancy for it. I've seen your name crop up in the live streams so I thought I'd give you a little support. I've subbed and I'm off now to check some of your other content 👍😀

      Thanks pal. It is a cracking little bike, I actually enjoyed taking it out for a blast. But like you I wouldn't buy one as they are quite expensive. Thanks for sub and feel free to have nosey around. It's not amazing content but some of its ok. Fasty

      @@FastyRides Thanks for your reply, isn't the 750 the one that's made in China? Not that that's a poor reflection as the likes of my KTM 890 Adventure R are doing a Collab with a factory in China. Even my most recent purchase the Triumph Rocket 3 GT is foreign built in Thailand, bikes certainly are getting expensive.

  • @ed.t.hansen6499

    great seat; good for 2 up. but i see 77 hp where other bikes are now over 100 hp. So weight is 222kg vs some others going in weight; that may or may not help 2 up ? I added hi windshield; center stand, mud flaps, crash bars ..

    great vid mate. id never heard of a 750 gs before, but from watching you it defo doesn't lack the power. regarding the small screen I can only imagine it's designed for off road more then road maybe, for instance the standard AT has a smaller screen then the adventure sports. looks a good contender for the new transalp. am I convincing you to honda yet haha

    • @FastyRides
      @FastyRides  Год назад +1

      I would love a trans alp, but coat too much for a second bike. If I was going for a second bike it would be a kove 450 rally pro. But there expensive too. Fasty rides

    I enjoyed that. Just long enough to give a quick overview from a demo-ride perspective without boring the baffles off of us with all the particulars you can find reading a full review online.
    That screen - I can only think looking at it that there must be a range of differing size screens available otherwise I’m confused with its marketing placement. It looks like a hybrid naked adventure bike. My Street Triple had a bigger screen than that.
    I always wonder why stock exhausts need to be so big and fugly. That one sucks.
    Great work 👍🏻

    I’ve got the 1250 but also got the 750 (2nd one now) and ride it more. Lots of after market screens think you can spec a different screen from new as well, and you can add as an option the electronic suspension. It has the same 853cc engine as the 850 with a different tune and as to performance although it has 77bhp according to BMW’s figures it’s only 0.6 seconds slower to 60 than the 1250. Motogeo took 750 and 850 off road and preferred the 750 but no intention to take it off road.

    • @FastyRides
      @FastyRides  Год назад

      I can see why people have these smaller capacity bikes, they are fun to ride. I would like to try the 850 but they have always got it booked out for test rides. just my luck. Thanks mate, Fasty-Rides

    • @SouthWest-jj8yu
      @SouthWest-jj8yu Год назад +2

      @@FastyRides I tried the 850 but chose the 750. Didn’t notice a huge difference in the engine but preferred the 750 handling with a wider 19” front whereas the 850 has a 21” narrow front more suited to off road. It was just personal preference but as well as feel on the road the 850 is quite a bit more expensive, my fully spec’d 750 brand new was less than £12k.

      @FastyRides  Год назад

      @@SouthWest-jj8yu yer i made a fully speced 750 last night on the BMW website. Its a lot of money. but saying that, it fell inline with all the other manufacturers. All roughly the same price. Fasty-Rides

    screen is terrible, suspension is spongy, things I changed straight away on mine, but then I have spent a fair few quid on making mine, mine, great all round bike, I did 2.5k miles around the UK last year on mine going Land's End to John O Groats, absolutely love my little GS, nothing compared to my sportbikes, but she will shift in Dynamic, you can stiffen the suspension in the settings on road, dynamic making it stiffer on the rear, which helps, mine is about to have the engine fully opened as it is the same motor in the 850gs so bring on the extra 11bhp on top of the 77bhp lol
