  • BMW has a stunning selection of adventure bikes, catering for novices to lady riders, shorter riders, all the way to the hardened hardcore off-road adventure riders. In this episode I have a look at and review the middle class segment and the variants within, the F750GS, F850GS and the F850 GS Adventure.
The reason these BMW models start with the designation F is due to the motor layout which is a parallel twin and then you have the numerals, however all are the same capacity motors, just in different tune.
I hope this review will help you decide which one is for you.....

This review was perfect thank you...!
I'm a daily commuter on my G310gs, 50kms one way and thought to myself bigger is better and had my heart set on the F850... but after watching your review I know hands down the F750 is the perfect daily driver for me with a bit of ofroad fun on a weekend...

For me I was struggling to decide between the 750 and 850 (non ADV). 30years experience, 6'3" and live in a city . I rarely do any off road, do touring sometimes. I ended up going for 850 mainly because it comes with a lot higher spec than 750 (very basic) and also I much prefer a higher seat bike. Actually when I looked at adding on hand guards, centre stand, heated grips, cruise control the price of the 750 was coming close to the 850.
The 750 was definitely more nimble and more suited so my daily uses (

Thank you for putting together this great review of both of these motorcycles. Like your other videos, I thought the review was stellar, and I appreciate your perspective and point of you. Thank you for taking the time to do so. How would you think either of these stack up against the tramp 900 either Rally Pro or GT Pro?

Thank you so much 🙏 To be perfectly honest, the Triumph seems to be a more modern up to date bike, striking and edgy in design. Both are extremely competent so I would put it more at personal cosmetic preference…….. and I would go Triumph 👍🏻 and that says a lot as I currently ride the GS 1250 HP Adventure

@@route21garage Great review! I've had both Triumph and BMW, and I currently have a BMW f650gs which I bought new back in in 2012. I am stuck between these two bikes or the Triumph 900 Rally. Why would you go with the Triumph? I am leaning that way too. Thanks!

there are no variants in Asia. You get one model in Thailand; with the limited features they offer. ! Sad. So I'm waiting for the new 800GS that is a 750gs relabeled; with 10 hp more as the 850gs had. .

I'm in China and both are reduced by 30% here as they can't compete with QJ and CF (Chinese brands) on price. Mind you I notice most are stamped with 9/2023 so have been sitting around for a year.

Only the gs 1250 has a low seat variant or not ? I am only 1,74 cm in high so I Need the right Bike for me

The 750 and 850 can be factory lowered, and the seats can be ordered in 3 different heights. I've got a 750 and love it, downsized from a 1200 and very happy with it. Cheers.

750 and 850 are made in Thailand, nothing to worry about though
