Check out TJMAX - I bought a beauty for about $60 there. Enamel/cast iron. Weighs a ton. No need to spend hundreds on a LeCruset. I also have a lighter weight one that’s a Sur La Table brand - it was around $40-50 - they are my go-to braising and bread making pieces. I love them both.

Shereen, I put pot roast in my chili with 80/20 hamburger . I brown the potroast and cook it in a pressure cooker with beef broth for 99 minutes . Shred it up and into the chili . I've won many 1st place awards . I'll have to make you'r version, looks delish.

Pop made this...he poked holes in it, worshire and lemon, garlic in the holes, the rest as usual....sweet, tender, amazing. My pop-pop was a sweet old gpa....loved him to death!

Love this recipe except I add mushrooms and peppers to the Fennel, onion mixture at the beginning. Also I add the butter, flour mixture at the beginning as well. Love it!!

I thought the recipe would be in your cookbook, but it was not. I did make this last night for family and it was incredible, absolutely falls apart. I love the sauce by emulsifying the fennel, onion & garlic. I served with roasted brussel sprouts and homemade Mac & cheese. Great dinner on a cold and rainy December night. Thank you, this will be a favorite for years to come.

Your video showed me what I was looking for! The ceramic dutch ovens seem to all stick! I bought one, 6 qt. with the ceramic coating on the inside and it sucked. I’ve got an older 3.5 qt that doesn’t stick like the ceramic. FYI I got the oven from my grandmother about 40 years ago just wished it was bigger. I will try your recipe! Thank you for sharing! Great presentation also.
