I don’t usually leave reviews of any kind but I simply had to. You broke each and every detail all the way down for those of us who are new to both GF and Inkscape and That just doesn’t happen on here. Man, I appreciate you!
I really can learn from you. I’m New to Glowforge & Inkscape This was actually what I’ve been looking for. Thank You. I hope that you do 101 classes 🥰 if soo how much?
For whatever reason when I press shift & alt and scroll up to connect the bottom half to the name it does the whole thing, I have rewatched several times and redid it and it does the same thing. I'm not sure what to do.
You are awesome but I must be a dip-doo. I've watched your video and done the same things you have step by step and I still get the clip path message when uploading to GF plus the name remains black & a separate cut option. Any advice?
i did this and the top half is separate from bottom half for some reason not coming out as one .. what am I doing wrong i’ve tried several times with your instructions
This is probably a really dumb question, but I am so new to inkscape. When I put my letters in they end up falling apart when I cut them out. I think I need to do something with the "fill and stroke" but I don't know what. Hoping you can help, your video was great. I did one last night and it was perfect....then today it's not doing the letters correct again. So frustrating

Can you show how to add a hanger and what hangers you use to add to the wall?
Good to see you took my advice on the OBS for the recording.
Yes, thank you! I’m ordering a better mic so I’m not so low on obs
@@customgrainsdesigns2226 ya i heard you get low, but you did a good job
Thankyou I could not figure this out until now
I'm glad it was able to help you out!
Hi did you do 101 classes?
I'm having a hard time with connecting the name 6:39 - 7:00?
You have to select the letters and bottom half of the monogram then union them together.
For whatever reason when I press shift & alt and scroll up to connect the bottom half to the name it does the whole thing, I have rewatched several times and redid it and it does the same thing. I'm not sure what to do.
what wood is this set for? medium or thick plywood? Thank you
I believe medium but usually cut at full power and 140 speed on the glowforge
@@customgrainsdesigns2226 Thank you ;)

I'm learning a lot from you! Do you mind me asking your thoughts on how you'd price something like that?
Glad to hear! I have a video on how to price your products but I sell these for $35.
i did this and the top half is separate from bottom half for some reason not coming out as one .. what am I doing wrong i’ve tried several times with your instructions
did you select the top half too and union that to the bottom and words?
How are you shipping larger 1/4" think signs or monograms so that they don't get damaged during shipping?
We ship them in bubble wrap and pizza style boxes.

Sorry I’m late. Did you figure it out?
After I downloaded my letters I noticed they are very light lines. Your lines on the video look dark and thicker. How do I get mine to look like yours
You can make them thicker in the fill and stroke toolbar. Change the stroke to a wider path.
Why is this file $15.00 and other people sell for so much less? I'm just curious.
This isn’t my file but I’m assuming it’s because it’s every letter. At the time, it was priced around the same as other similar files.
