- Very fast saw, and even though it is heavier than my Stihl MS 280 C, while working it feels like it is lighter, because compared to gas-powered saws it doesn't pull the log towards you. It saws through wood like through butter.

Don't push it that hard. Just let the saw to cut under it's weight. It's heavy enough for this.

да, у него нереально лёгкий и быстрый спыл, минус ето вес, он тяжелее моего Штиля 280, ну и акума хватает на одну среднюю берёзу.

The problem with these chainsaws with chain speeds of 30m / per second and more is that they exceed the maximum to give you any protection from even class 3 protective clothing.
I don't use any protection, in principle, even when riding a motorcycle, it's much safer for me without a helmet, it makes you watch out and not fall.
My biggest problem is the battery time. Cutting oak about 18" to 20" diameter with an 18" Light 04 bar 11 or 12 cuts and the AP500 S battery is out of power and on the top of that it is hot than takes the charger AL500 about 10 to 15 minutes just to cool of the battery so it can start charging back again. The saw is great no doubt about bat the battery technology still light years away for professional use.
@@sirvozelo1 Yes, the same for me, only the battery heats up so that it cools down for 30-40 minutes, but I just sawed a fir tree, with the average mode I got 50 cuts
@@woodbalt I not know what is a fir tree, here in north of Portugal we very much just have oak, birch and pine. If I am not using full power and the log is not tick yes I got some more time to, but if I go on a 18" or 20" oak and in full power the battery fast go out of charge.

@@foggyvalleyacres When I cut that tree into pieces and cut off all the branches, 3 out of 4 battery sections were used up, in terms of time it was about 15 minutes. But the battery is brand new, not trained yet, my old Stihl MSA 120 now lasts much longer than when the battery was new.

Unfortunately, yes, you are right, the battery is very low. For me, one battery is enough for one tree. But the saw is great.
@@woodbalt I have the MSA 300, MSA 220 C, 161T, GTA 26 and the Trimmer 135, batteries I have 3 AP 500S, 3 AP 300S, 1 AP 300 and 1 AP 200.
Normaly I always got more time cutting with AP200 on the 161T that i got with AP500S on anyone of the other machines.
The machines are great I have used and abused in particular the 161T it never fails for over 2 years, battery technology I think still need to evolve, but I am happy so far.

@@sirvozelo1 I've had an MSA 120 C for 4 or 5 years now, I bought it when everyone was still waiting for the 140 MSA to come out, I bought it out of curiosity to see if they could do anything at all, and it turned out that my little weak MSA 120 is capable of felling a 30 cm thick tree and cut into pieces. And I really liked its convenience, comfort - you don't need to mix gasoline with oil, you don't need to start it several times until it starts working, you don't need to warm up the engine either - press the button and the saw works, it's very convenient. So now I decided to buy this MSA 300 so that I don't have to use my gasoline Stihl MS 280 C anymore. I have already cut two trees with it, and although it is noticeably heavier than my MS 280, it is easier for me to work with the MSA 300 and I don't feel the weight, very I like that the MSA 300 doesn't tear the tree on top of you, but goes into the tree like water. @@sirvozelo1 I wanted to ask, today I put the MSA 300 on the second speed (two diodes) and my battery discharged very quickly and got very hot, yesterday when I saw it with 3 speeds (the most powerful) I had enough battery for the whole tree and it was only a little warm, do you also have the same with second gear?
@@woodbalt No, something else must happen, for my experience when we talking about batteries is not the same as gas. Think for a moment, consider the tree kind, dryense, the chain sharpness, even the envirment temperature, also if from one cut to the other you have release the trigger or not, the chain tension, etc. many things when all together can afect the same battery performance. Also are you sure your battery was in did fully charged even if the four green lights we're on? I have used my saws for over 2.5 years, I am not a professional but i have cut dozens and dozens of trees with all my batteries saws and tend to believe that even the tempertue can afect the battery performance, however the chain sharpnes I think is one of the main reasons.
Myself when I go out to cut some trees for each saw I always have if not new at least well sharpend 3 chains and as fast as I notice one chain dull I emidiatly change it to save battery power. Also and in particular with MSA300 if you cut very fast like cutting logs for firewood the battery have no time to cool off and got hot fast. If you cutting long way making board's like I did 8 months ago the battery same got hot even if i sharp the chain at 10 degrees, you must go slow for that, I mean not putting pression on the saw.
However and I have wright to Stihl saying the MSA300 is a joy powerfull machine never the less is like a Mustang GT with an empety tank of gas. This saw realy deserves a better battery witch not exist yet.
For the MSA300 I have 2 bars a 40 and a 45cm depends on the tickness of the trees, on the MSA 220 C I have a 35cm Stihl original bar but know Stihl saying that with 35cm light 04 bar and a specific chain we can got 20% more battery time, I already order one to try.

Если надо много пилить то нет, потому что акума хватает на одного/двух деревях, а в остальном он идеален, кроме большого веса, с акумом он тяжолый - 7 кг. Плюс в том что всегда сразу заводится и всегда работает, в отличии от бензопил, которых чтобы завести нужны приседания с запуском, и смешивать бензин с маслом тоже бесит, акумуляторним нажал кнопу и пилиш, мне ето очень нравится. Я себе купил для хозяйства, мне одной зарядки хватает чтобы напилить по чуркам один полный прицеп Зубрёнок.

Быстро да, очень быстро, но вот мошности не чуствуется хотя она есть, она настолько быстро пилит что как цепь прикасается к дереву так дерево уже распилено. Совсем другие ошушения чем от бензопил.

Вот когда 1 заряда аккумулятора будет хватать на 5 кубометров дров, тогда можно смело отказываться от бензиновых пил и переходить на аккумуляторные.

I buy mine online from Holland about 2 years ago and pay close to 700 Euros just the saw no charger and no battery. Here in Portugal the AP500S battery is around 500 Euros and the charger 500 over 150 Euros.

My friend i am from croatia, one of the east european sh*t holes. The only gasoline engine worth of mentioning are from Fiat Punto 1.2 haha. We have a saying that when you pull up on the road to pee, you have 50% to see somewhere near a gearbox for fiat or intercooler haha. That you can buy parts in Mcdonalds haha. Whatever you do to fiat punto, its always 2000 euros haha. You can buy new and crash it to the wall with 150kmh, you can repair it for 2000 euros haha. Name me one good german gasoline engine, that it isnt Golf2 engine ?

Да, скорость пиления поражает, скорость, и лёгкость с какой она ето делает, заявленной мошности не чуствуется вообше, чуствуется скорость только. Ешо очень не привычно что нет воя двухтактника, и из за етого есть когнитивный дисонанс.

Конечно, я же любитель, поетому могу себе позволить хорошый инструмент. Такие професионалы вроде тебя работают со старым б/у гавном за 300 евро и пашут как черти с утра до темноты лиш бы копейки заработать 😁. Но вообше то ето был первый тест моей новой игрушки где я питался понять чем она дышит и почему она так неожиданно легко и очень быстро пилит

Und Sie als Profi schneiden sie meterweise ab und verladen sie dann per Hand in den Anhänger? Ich habe meinen Körper nicht im Lotto gewonnen, also vermeide ich es, Gewichte zu heben. Meiner Meinung nach schneiden nur Dummköpfe meterweise ab und heben dann diese schweren Klötze hoch, um mit 30 Jahren Invaliden und Sponsoren von Ärzten zu werden. Ob der Akku länger oder weniger hält ist mir egal, mir ist wichtig, dass er funktioniert, nicht ich, deshalb kaufe ich alle meine Werkzeuge - um mir das Arbeiten so einfach und angenehm wie möglich zu machen.

А я не работаю в лесу. Она мне нужна чтобы убрать ветром поваленные деревя быстро, легко и без лишних приседаний, таких как мешать бензин с маслом, дёргать верёвку по несколько раз пока засосёт бенз в карбе, чок, газ, прогрев, мура какая то, а с етой игрушкой - взял, подошол, нажал кнопку и пили, притом пилит она 3 раза быстрее чем все мои бензиновые пилы.

@@ВладимирКрицкий-и5ь для леса ей только ёмкости акума нехватает, одна батарея ето одно среднее дерево повалить, спилить ветки и разделить по чуркам. Акум стоит 429 евро, покупать их 5 - 10 штук для работы в лесу, ну ето бред...ну а так она ошутимо мошнее и быстрее моего Штиля 280, и очень легко пилит дерево, как будто свежый хлеб пилит а не в дерево.

@@Имя-я9с8с Да так же и пилит, как хлеб, пилил уже берёзу 60 см, небольшой дуб, сосну, ель, ему всё равно, пилит точно так же. Единственное что различается ето емкость акума, то есть быстрее кончается акум если очень твёрдое или очень толстое что то пилиш, но скорость пила не меняется. Её нельзя надавить, как бензопилу, надо положить на бревно и отпускать пусть сама пилит, если нажимаеш електроника даёт дополнительную мошность от акума и тогда акум быстро пустой.

Of course, I understand that the most important thing for workers is how efficient they are, but then write it to people like you. And I cut much better than you.
And for especially "smart" people - I filmed how a saw cut, not how I cut. Also, visit your local Stihl dealer and ask for advice on how to cut trees with a chainsaw, and you'll be surprised to learn that you need at least a 2-3 second pause between each cut to let the saw cool down a bit (it's about chainsaws), if if you don't do it, the saw will overheat and you will have to change the piston and cylinder within half a year. Of course, "professionals" like you have never heard of this rule. This also applies to battery saws, so that the battery does not overheat, when it heats up, the sawing time is reduced by half or more.
