The stumble from my understanding is from it being a rich condition while you peddle the car. Thats why most of the guys out there get the brpv to clean up the transition from peddling
It has a boost reference in the rear. But I’m thinking about changing back to a vacuum power valve again
BRPV front, and block the rear and up the rear jets. Or BRPV both ends.

Good job! You said it perfectly - you will have to tune the carburetor - no sending it off to some one else - it is something that the average enthusiast can do at home. As far as the "bog", I think you need more cowbell.

Stumble:
The turbo is still spinning wildly when you close the throttle. Your blow off valve limits boost to about max or max plus 2 psi.
The extra buildup against the closed throttle cause an air temperature spike (compressed air with no where to go but blow off) and also a max air pressure spike in the intake air up to blow off psi. The turbo not being fed exhaust at that instant and fighting the compressed air against a closed butterfly then stalls and slows. Suddenly opening the throttle let's a rush of very hot pressurized air into the carb and it takes a fraction of a second for the combustion and exhaust to catch up and start spinning the turbo again. This is not uncommon and is the reason that non abrupt throttle movements are suggested... Especially in airplanes which generally run a pretty consistent rpm. Sudden bursts at a balked landing go around can do this.

The stumble is probably the acces fuel being blown through when you let out and back in, it should show a rich spike at that point in the data log.
From my personal experience it’s a lean situation, needs more squirter
@@rickyhunter3514 normally the squirter will effect it at a hard stab from idle also, but I didn't see that happen, or wasn't mentioned. But still a possibility.
Popping is lean condition. If you could make a run with the car and then immediately shut the car off. Pull the plugs out to verify the lean condition.

Check the e brake handle button for rattling. Mine is driving me crazy gotta find a way to tighten it.

Awesome video!! I have similar setup, finally someone doing a blow through foxbody. I’m running same AFR 10.8 on 8# of boost. how much timing are you pulling per pound?
You should swap back to 2.73's! There is so much torque once you come on boost with that setup.
It’s got 3.31s in it now.

Will it do the stumble without the charge pipe on if you stab it and pedal like that? Have you worked on the accel pump shot? Look at the data log if it shoots lean when you do that add some pump shot like pump cams that pump more earlier. Squirters too, csu will steer you in the right direction.
Drop pvcr’s to drop some fuel out at the top. High speed air bleed could also tailor the curve a bit at the top. Excellent work 3rd looked 🌶️ 😂

With a carb/turbo setup you want to lean it out a bitin comparison to an efi setup, the charge is way cooler. If you have a intake temp sensor in the port you'll see the temperature cooler after the carb because of the fuel spray
At least for me I’ve noticed the afr fluctuates more than EFI. So I like to leave it a touch rich just in case

Yes, it does, because O2 sensors are not regulating afr. The air through the boosters and venturi are. Which always will have a lag...
O2 are reading what afr is, the carb adjustment is hoping to make it into something acceptable under varying conditions and sudden changes of throttle.
Edit your handheld so you don’t have to look at the red warnings all the time

Sometimes the stops on my Hurst shifter need to be adjusted. Otherwise, it will rattle like crazy. Your car is a beast!
What fuel pump are you using with your blow through?
Do you think the drivability would be the same if you didn't have the Holley Terminator setup?
Yes considering timing is pretty much locked out out of boost.
Do you have a mechanic oil pressure gage? Those line make a nasty rattle noise...
we know foxbodies are rattle traps, its part of the experience lol
Stumble May be excess fuel while there’s a loss of boost?
Sounds like it goes rich when you have that stumble. Try getting it a bit leaner over all and see if that stops

Kinda sorta yes
You might need larger discharge nozzles.
I think I actually have them too tight. I’m going to head out there today and check it out.

That is called a rich misfire and AFR cannot pick it up

Is that 16° total? That thing needs way more timing, it should be around 35°. I know that sounds crazy but sbf love timing and you kind of gotta hit them over the head to get them to run right, it'll most likely help that stumble also, a lot of perceived carb problems are actually timing issues.
Its boosted u dont run normal timing, please research

@@alltherpm Then explain why guys like Bill and Billy Hoskinson and Tony Politano run anywhere from 32 to 35° in a sbf regardless of boost, nitrous or n/a? They have the same set ups on their street cars as most do but theirs perform way better. Case and point, watch SRC's latest video, Bill bought a 347 turbo fox body, the timing dipped to 14 at a certain point which caused it to stumble and run like a dog, they put it at 35 and the car came alive. Anyone I've ever raced with has said sbf love timing and that 14° "sweet spot" stuff is nonsense. Tbh, I'm curious on the issue myself.
@@bobfalfa76 They set the timing high at low RP m's when RP m's climb if you look at their tables on their Holly it drops to about 20 to 18 And also depends on your gasoline I believe these guys run the best you can get
