I swear every time Ghostraptor fights it’s always some new fundamentally important thing about the bot that breaks on impact with an opposing bot, the arena, or for no reason at all.

Good ol' Ghost Raptor: lost it's spinner on the first decent hit then set itself on fire. Nevertheless, it seemed a clear decision for Ghost Raptor which pretty much controlled the whole fight.

I’m mostly impressed that Team Shredderator can even drive that thing. Most full-body spinners have a self-righter that also kind of acts like a tail to show the driver which way the bot is facing. They were a little unstable as well.

Ghost Raptor has a great chassis, the main weapon just needs some improvement so it doesn't break as often.

Ghost Raptor was the high scorer for both teams, here, since it injured itself, while Shrederator was ineffective. But if Ghost Raptor could've driven better, it could've won decisively.

Shredderator needs an overhaul. And honestly this revamp just isn't good for full body spinners. Vertical spinners are getting way too powerful now. They just destroy them. Going to reach a point soon where horizontal spinners won't matter

How does captain shredderator not win when he literally disabled the other bot’s primary weapon? It seems like the judges are constantly changing what they care more about: primary weapon hits or control.

The judges make their decision based on three categories:
-Damage
-Control
-Aggression
Shred definitely had the Damage category, taking out a bots main weapon will usually see to that. Even after that, they kept getting hits in. With Ghosts' main taken out to quickly, and never really hitting with its flame thrower, it basically made no hits to really even score for Damage
But that's okay, because even while on fire, Ghost took the Aggression category by keeping on Shred and in their face at every point. Shred would constantly be backing up and making distance to get their spin going, which hinders Shreds Aggression score
And with Ghost constantly in Shreds' face and dictating where they go, even trapping them into corners frequently, they were to score high in Control. They couldnt hit Shred, but they also didn't let Shred do very much else once they got their big hit in, which helped secure their Control score

I disagree, Shrederator never took control of the match after the main weapon was destroyed. Shrederator was always negated to even get a full spin going. Every match I seen of this season Shrederator looks outclassed.

The refs were definitely deaf, dumb, and blind on that decision. Ghost raptor is the most overrated failure ever in the battle box. And that stupid adolescent mohawk on a wannabe adult...give me a break.

Sounds like you aren't familiar with the scoring system then. This was a clear Ghost Raptor victory.
Up to 3 points are awarded for damage dealt WITH YOUR PRIMARY WEAPON: While GR took a lot of damage this fight, it was all self-inflicted. Shrederator wasn't even spinning when GR knocked its own weapon loose, and GR's flamethrower is what set itself on fire. So few points to either side in this category. Up to 2 points for control obviously both go to GR, which kept Shredderator from ever spinning up and boxed it in the corner for half the fight. And up to 2 points for aggression, which obviously go to GR, since GR was constantly ramming into its opponent while Shredder was constantly running away to find the space to spin up to speed.
