I have to disagree. It surely warmed up a bit during this video. It seems these amateurs can't drink it while singing, dancing, playing guitar and clapping their hands together and into random hard objects.
I don't understand why there was a need for encryption during WWII. You just put two of these guys on each side of the telephone line and there is no chance the Nazis would pick a single word.
And this friends is why I give thanks daily that I am a Celt. Scottish on my father's side and Irish on my mothers. Best music (and dancing) in the world.
Daibhidh Earrann Buachaille I have to disagree with your last sentence, sire. But still lovely music to enjoy while drinking. Sláinte mhath! Greetings from Czech Republic, lads.
I love every part of this video, the enthusiasm of the singer, the skill of the pipes, the Guinness on the plywood, and the sheer determination of the dancer!
Thats what I call an amazing performance. Thats better than a concert. Good Irish band playing in an Irish pub with cool Irishmen & women, chilling, having a nice brew🍺, and a nice wood floor for Irish dancing and even using the beer as obstacles.
I must have heard a thousand performances of this song and that's my favorite one ever. If you ever see the musicians who did this, I am BEGGING them to do something official, some studio, some touring, throw us a bone, we're starving for this!
I’m absolutely in love with every aspect of this video. the intro, the music, thr atmosphere, thr girl dancing during that amazing solo, and thr way a splash of stout hit thr board at the end. Absolutely brilliant. There is nothing like this where I live in Louisiana.

The Three Guinness pints representing The Trinity, The Father, The Son, The Holy Ghost. What a gift to see these young Irishmen still telling the stories of their ancestors told to them passed down..... This is amazing....
As a catholic myself, I have always thought it weird that even the priest will come enjoy a pint. There's a lot of no' no's , yet by all means chug your way into you don't remember the night before.
Her wild eyes are indeed contagious, but the intensity of all the musicians makes my heart race every time I listen to this version...and the twinkling eyes and intoxicating charm of the lead singer do beat all!
Great performance. I like how they did some non traditional things with it musically; guitar player really played interesting stuff. Loved the low tin whistle solo and the dancing around the glasses of Guiness!
Greetings from Tucson, AZ USA-- I have to tell you, I lived in Enniskillen, NI for 14 years, and this tune was on my dad's stereo (that he built himself) done by the Clancy Bros. , the whole of my childhood. This is a ripping rendition. Thank you. Sending blessings, xxx oh and a PS, can I have the singer?? Nobody throws a party, or a session, like the Irish. Nobody!
OK, this was amazing, love the song, love the band, and the dancer, she is fabulous, I wish I could meet her 🙂, great job lads... Can't wait to go back to Ireland ❤️🇮🇪🍀
A fun video & some toe tapping music. A question, why didn't the dancer get a pint when she was done? Shwe managed to not knock any over. Is that what the Irish call Pint Dancing VS Scottish Sword dancing????
Irish and Serbian music is very similar. Also our folk dances are very similar. Mentality too. It sounds different of course but you can see that there is some connection between and that it dates back to maybe the same ancestors. Also the way they get together and play with the instrument is similar. I would love to be able to agree with this statement but that little bit that got spilt at the end broke my heart i have to say
Didn’t spill a drop.
I have to disagree. It surely warmed up a bit during this video. It seems these amateurs can't drink it while singing, dancing, playing guitar and clapping their hands together and into random hard objects.
As an Irishman, it is a sacrilege to spill any Guinness beer.
"people only go to pubs to get drunk"
People at the pub:
and to bloody dance like a princess
Wish we had such pubs over here in Belgium
Can’t beat hearing this classic song by such an authentic speaker. And props to the instrumentalists, too!
I don't understand why there was a need for encryption during WWII. You just put two of these guys on each side of the telephone line and there is no chance the Nazis would pick a single word.
I agree and my late uncle lost an eye fighting them in the battle of Bulge in Parton's third army nonetheless
Lol my ass off....thanks a lot love it

I'm Russian, but when I think about the freedom struggle, Ireland gets closer. Michael Collins is a worthy son.
Ireland has been an independent country since the 1920s.

Appreciate the comment 👍
This was, hands down, one the best performances of anything I've ever seen in my life. Fucking hell.
Indeed
While in the merry month of June, now from me home I started
Left, the girls of Tuam were nearly broken-hearted
Saluted father dear, kissed me darling mother
Drank a pint of beer, me grief and tears to smother
Then off to reap the corn and leave where I was born
Cut a stout, black thorn to banish ghosts and goblins
A brand-new pair of brogues to rattle over the bogs
And frighten all the dogs on the rocky road to Dublin
A-one, two, three, four, five
Hunt the hare and turn her down the rocky road
And all the ways to Dublin, whack, follol de-dah
In Mullingar that night I rested limbs so weary
Started by daylight next morning blithe and early
Took a drop of pure to keep me heart from shrinking
Thats the Paddy's cure when'er he's on for drinking
To hear the lassies smile, laughing all the while
At me curious style, 'twould set your heart a-bubblin'
They asked me was I hired and wages I required to lay
Was almost tired of the rocky road to Dublin
One, two, three, four, five
Hunt the hare and turn her down the rocky road
And all the ways to Dublin, whack, follol de-dah
In Dublin next arrived, I thought it such a pity
To be so soon deprived a view of that fine city
So then I took a stroll, all among the quality
Bundle it was stolen, in a neat locality
Something crossed me mind, when I looked behind
No bundle could I find upon me stick a-wobblin'
'Quiring after the rogue, said me Connaught brogue
It wasn't much in vogue on the rocky road to Dublin
One, two, three four, five
Hunt the hare and turn her down the rocky road
And all the ways to Dublin, whack, follol de-dah
From there I got away, me spirits never falling
Landed on the quay, just as the ship was sailing
Captain at me roared, said that no room had he
When I jumped aboard, a cabin found for Paddy
Down among the pigs, did some hearty rigs
I played some hearty jigs, the water round me bubbling
When off Holyhead I wished meself was dead
Or better for instead on the rocky road to Dublin
One, two, three four, five
Hunt the hare and turn her down the rocky road
And all the ways to Dublin, whack, follol de-dah
The boys of Liverpool, when we safely landed
Called meself a fool, I could no longer stand it
Blood began to boil, temper I was losing
Poor old Erin's Isle they began abusing
"Hurrah me soul" says I, me Shillelagh I let fly
Galway boys were by and saw I was a hobblin'
With a "lo!" and "hurray!" they joined in the affray
Quickly cleared the way for the rocky road to Dublin
One, two, three four, five
Hunt the hare and turn her down the rocky road
And all the ways to Dublin, whack, follol de-dah
Thank you...I couldn't understand half of it
I‘m too…..
From a lad from Liverpool, I approve this message.
