The Blackbird (Traditional Irish Set Dance)

I saw this North Kerry style tradset on RUclips and fell in love with the unusual steps. I had to break it down from the video, so there may be stylistic inaccuracies in my version, but that doesn’t stop me from loving and dancing it!

Love it! I missed this video somehow! I love this version too, Jackie O'Riley & Rebecca McGowan taught to me in Boston when I was passing through once - we do a step swap whenever I visit. It is those same 2 ladies who wrote the Silver Slipper hop jig - ❤
