You squire are a genius! How do you have the Knowledge for so many different machines and brands? Let alone model variations! You're like a living schematic of power tools! Hats off to you sir.
I have one of those in my garage that gave up last year and after watching this video I finally got round to fixing it . thanks for passing on the know how .
Dean, Thank you for creating these videos. This video helped me out so much when I was troubleshooting and fixing my im250 paslode. I still need to figure out how to keep my battery in place but at least it shooting like it's supposed to.
I just watched the movie "the killer" and the guy uses a paslode gun to nail a guy. I didn't know anything about nail guns before watching this channel.
Been waiting for you to service one these models finally. You just need to get your hands on the OG black models IM 250 with long Nicaea battery. Challenge is on people.
Looks like my comment vanished? Dean, can you point us to your preferred source for those long (6" 150mm) screwdriver bits? Been looking to buy for months, but the ones I've seen online have reviews that are all over the place. Any help (even generally, rather than specifics) would be greatly appreciated. And I've said it before, your videos are highly informative. 🙂.
I get 6 months to a year out of a DeWalt 20 volt( i’m in Canada)… In the commercial carpentry trade they get used a lot and take a lot of abuse… warranty not worth a Tinkers damn… as for repair well it’s probably even worse than where you are… just not worth the money.. Just buy new and call it an occupational expense… maybe I’ll try my hand at fixing the ones in my garage… It’s not in my DNA to throw away tools broken or otherwise
Thanks for your video.. It is very helpful with my nail gun service. Just a quick question I have a gun with a stripped brass head nut that is retained in the plastic casing.. Are the brass nuts replaceable or do you need a new casing?
@@deandohertygreaser Thats a pity that you dont take on private work. I would have no qualms paying for quality work done like that cash money. Top Job Pal and thanks for sharing. Alot of so called servise repairs centres would never go through the guns like that. They would open the 6 bolts and wash it out with Holts brake cleaner and say they done a full service on it and then bull you.
You can tell you know your sh** that your flinging the bolts and parts knowing have to put it all back im not a repairman just engineer/ metal worker but fix most my own tools but still have to go about disassembly organised and laid out in there little places for my mind to help when reassembling almost give me anxiety whatching the way you take it apart great stuff

Glad it helped
Excellent video. Very informative.
Thanks for sharing.
Interesting to see how much exhaust gas comes out of a freshly serviced tool.

Yes my paslode is doing the same thing...thanx mate
I liked the no nonsense pure focus aspect of this one Dean, but I much prefer you narrating what you’re up to as you go. Great video as usual though.
Good stuff

the long double sided set i have is a tengtool set, but the ph2 i always use is a makita dryway bit. from a collated drywall gun.
Much appreciated!@@deandohertygreaser
First time I've ever seen one taken apart. Thanks for the education! Enjoyed.

what have you got to lose
I feel like this should have been titled "tool repair ASMR" to get picked up by the algorithm
Might try that some day
Mighty 👍
Where do you get the service kit from and do you have a link please?
Great content.
I was wondering if you have ever worked on Fein tools
No videos on RUclips on how to re grease a 250 multi master tool.

Yes you can get the brass inserts.
So what was the actual problem, and what fixed it. I have the same gun and my fan runs but it doesn't fire. Thanks
What did you used, and how did you clean all the parts?
Kerosene and a paint brush
@@deandohertygreaser what was the actual reason for not shooting?
Hi
Just wonder if you take private work?
If ya do how to get in contact please
Cheers 👍
Afraid not sorry
Cant a normal person just walk in to your shop or you just deal with company/corporate rather than private customers?

Dean mine is tight on the last bit of the plunge , what’s that problem ? Please
Bent firing pin maybe
Hi, I bought one second and what can go wrong with them
Video is corrupt ???

Wow all in 8.35 minutes
In your learning phase did you really piss people off? I seem to be getting a lot of flack for various reasons.
not particularly, no. I got the odd difficult customer or people chancing their arm. But not pissed of
Always great educational videos Dean. Could you please tell me the part number of the short fuel cell for the 900400 trim nailer? Thanks.
i would never be able to put that back together .
So it just needed a good clean, oil the o rings and that sorted to problem of not firing.
I think youtube doesn't like "gun" in the title, put "tool" instead next time.
Sometimes your better off not using a screwgun and overtightening those delicate screws, after all its not a race!
