While spending way too much time at home during these uncertain times, I am enjoying major projects of cleaning, decluttering, organizing, etc. I get inspired by all of your videos. I' ve already done the bathrooms. Today I tackled the big job of cleaning the kitchen from top to bottom and combined with your video on cleaning stainless steel appliances and also on how to clean laminate wood flooring, and had a wonderful afternoon. I got a Dyson V8 stick vacuum about a year ago, maybe more, on sale but still a pricey item. I got it because I saw how easy it was to use in your vids and as I foster kittens, being able to do a quick pass with the vacuum every day is key to keeping up with the litter crumbs. Best. Tool. Ever. Totally worth the cost. Plus it is super easy to clean and maintain.

I use to have an open shelf to store glasses so I stored them upside down, I have moved and now have a cupboard to store them in and now I store them upright.
I also had a cleaning business. This was pretty much what I would do except for one thing. I noticed you put some decorative/counter items on the dirty floor as you cleaned the counters. They will transfer dirt to your clean counters. Instead...move the items to a spot on the counter you've not cleaned yet. After you clean the spot where the item is to go (think paper towel holder) clean off the bottom and surface of the items then put them back where they belong. All clean. No transfer of dirt! Sparkle too.
I would love to see a video on cleaning the nooks & crannies of the house: where the carpets meet the baseboards, the thin spaces between appliances and walls, the area under & behind hard to move furniture, etc. I love watching your videos. You & Chad do a great job.
Active Noise Cancelling Headphones are a Godsend with a brilliant sound and app! Even if you don't listen to anything, the sounds of the robot vacuum, fans, ticking clocks, traffic etc all go. My favourites are Sony WH-1000XM3 they are really comfortable, Sony also have ear buds with the same function.

maybe invest in one of those scanners that can scan anything from business cards to full-size sheets and store it all digitally? You could have a zip drive for each year, each type of document, each client, whatever works! then shred all those papers that are driving you insane!
Rose I’m sorry, I don’t have one to recommend, I have a large file cabinet and just purge everything that isn’t for taxes or business at the end of the year. I am trying to be more diligent about my “piles” as well. Maybe I can get inspired to do the digital copies too! Good luck ☺️

This is good timing. I have just had a brand new kitchen fitted and it is so much easier to motivate myself to keep it clean. I even bought some greaseproof paper to put on top of my new cabinets. It is quite a small kitchen and the 3 wave system takes about ten minutes. I just need to make sure I keep doing it regularly
Please can you do a video for people who have medical conditions that restricts them to do too much cleaning altogether, how to manage housework in small chunks spaced out in the course of the week. Little tips maybe of shortcuts & advice you have accumulated.
Check out Marla Cilley at flylady.net. She also has a youtube channel. Her whole system is based on doing things in little chunks - like 15 minutes at a time. The only thing, she encourages you to set a timer and go really fast and get as much done as possible in that 15 minutes, and I can't do that because of my back. So I will set my timer for 20 minutes or 30 minutes, whatever works for me at the time, and move slowly. She has a weekly schedule to help you make sure that you're making progress, covering the basics, and eventually, that everything gets done.
I love to watch your videos . I have learned a lot of great tips and tricks! I clean houses with a friend and My biggest issues are range shower doors and the very large wall mirrors ! The shower door usually need a good soap scum and hard water remover but I can’t get in the shower as I do at home and scrub away! And the mirrors tend to be streaky no matter how many times I go over them! So annoying going to try a squeegee on mirrors !

And she didn't use paper plates for parties either or a dishwasher. How did she do it 'all'? Oh yeah, probably a little everyday as she was a 'stay at home grandma'. Funny. I was so excited to click this cleaning video in the new kitchen lol. And it was actually messy. Sometimes you say you have a mess but it’s more of a tidy up.
To clean my drains I put bicarbonate of soda down the drain then pour white vinegar down the drain which creates a chemical reaction. After I pour down hot water then some lemon juice to freshen.
Bathroom for sure, especially a large glass and tile enclosed shower like Courtney suggested. Also how to really get into the door frame. I have a hard time cleaning the frame!!!

Bathroom shower and shower doors that are the builder grade regular plastic kind. Soap scum builds up so quickly on walls and so hard to scrub off! Need easier way to handle. I feel I have tried everything. Also shower doors that are frosted no clear and get a fog like build up. Our house was built 20 years ago so it would be nice to see cleaning advice for those older homes thanks!!! Your kitchen is beautiful 👍

To clean my drains I put bicarbonate of soda down the drain then pour white vinegar down the drain which creates a chemical reaction. After I pour down hot water then some lemon juice to freshen.

I keep my glasses and cups upright, I try to keep my counter tops clear, I do keep coffee maker, microwave and Aquasana water is on counter all the time but trying to rethink those. Thanks for the great video!
Bathroom shower and shower doors that are the builder grade regular plastic kind. Soap scum builds up so quickly on walls and so hard to scrub off! Need easier way to handle. I feel I have tried everything. Also shower doors that are frosted no clear and get a fog like build up. Our house was built 20 years ago so it would be nice to see cleaning advice for those older homes thanks!!! Your kitchen is beautiful 👍
