sublime What a wonderful opportunity to play on this marvelous instrument that is still concidered as one of the most individual piano instruments with the greatest fine touch and most beautiful piano sound. Also comes along the difficulty to play such sensitive instrument with a very peculiar touch. I guess to remember since I don't consider myself as expert with a high appreciation for piano play by listening and also so fond of playing since growing up as a youngster. Well done' Michiei!
very good, the improvisatory quality of your playing is always refreshing. Have you heard Michałowski's 1905 recording of his Minute Waltz paraphrase? Interesting example of effects that may only be possible on the older actions (this is my limited view, having listened extensively to piano recordings pre-1910 but only actually played a 19th-century instrument myself once (Broadwood from the 1860s or 70s, as far as I can recall))
Thank you very much. Just listened to the Michalowski, very fun paraphrase! From older actions (not too old) I love playing on Gaveau. You can play the speed of light with it. Cziffra also loved them.
Well done! Great piano, tuned verry well at about 435 hz I think. Thanks for sharing.
The best version of that waltz for me. What an incredible tone and pedal mastering! Thank you maestro Demarey for that gem!
What a pleasant gift 🙂

Such a frivolous and freely interpretation. You really stand out with your playing! Big fan
Interesting to hear you play on a historic piano. Love the ending!
