One small tip for the peanut butter jar as the inner fussy Mum inside me can’t resist the urge to pass this on to prevent an oily gooey mess everywhere on the counters 😅 Soon as you buy your natural peanut butter immediately store it upside down. Than when you are ready to use just flip it back to the right side, wait for a few seconds and carefully open the lid. The peanut butter will be smooth. I always store my peanut butter or any natural nut butter jars upside down this way the oil has a chance to slowly creep back inside the peanut butter and even if you have to mix it its not as much of a hassle. Hope this tip can help someone.
What is the beige powder that was added right before the gochugaru? Was it chicken stock powder? It was a split second before the pepper powder. I am going with Chinese chicken stock powder.
I’ve made this recipe twice this week. It’s becoming one of my new favorites because it’s so easy and takes so little time to make. I also fry a little textured soy protein in onion paste then add it in with the sauce at the end 😍
Loved this recipe! I made this with a tiny tweak cause the OG recipe was a little too for my taste. For those who prefer less salty, try using 1 tbsp of black soy sauce instead of 2. I also added 2 tbsp of pork stock and a tsp of sesame oil for more flavor ❤
Just made this today and I loved it. I subbed hot paprika for the gochugaru because I could only find it in a 1lb bag for $30 bucks because I’m not in the US. But it was still really really good. I however should have halved the amount of the hot paprika because mine made me sweat but I didn’t get the hiccups so that’s was nice. I definitely recommend. I also made my own chili garlic crisp for the occasion because I had been seeing a lot of videos on chili garlic noodles and I really wanted to find a cheap and convenient quick meal and if using whole wheat noodles, a soft boiled egg and thinly sliced cucumber it isn’t a too bad meal. The noodles and peanut butter provide plenty of protein. Also I was a bit confused on the light and dark soy sauce but then I saw that regular kikkoman is considered a dark soy sauce so I ended up buying a regular soy sauce and one low in sodium for the light and it was very tasty. The initial cost in sauces can be steep if you need the name brands but you can go cheap like me and it’ll still be worthwhile.
Thanks, I was looking for this precise recipe because it's cold today! But I added ginger, onions, a little red wine and cabbage to my pasta and it turned out great.
I love cooking spicy food but my toddlers (especially the eldest at 3.5yo) refuses to eat anything spicy! Plus I'm also pregnant and the heartburn is real. But as soon as this baby pops out I'm doing this sauce for me. Once the toddlers are asleep 😂 I also bought these noodles but haven't tried them yet! It looks so good!
I tried this and it was phenomenal! the flavor was so very different from ur typical ramen. it was a new and delicious for a change. would definitely make again.
Nah nah this was literal crack when I tried. I ate it everyday for like a MONTH. I had to build up a spice tolerance because I loved it so much. I'm not even kidding if you are reading this!

2tbsp soy sauce
1tbsp dark soy sauce
1tbsp gochugaru
0.5-1tbsp rice vinegar

With how much noodles?
@@ebbadhassan6068 its up to you.

Before gochugaru she's putting something what's that? It's a powder kinda pinkish after that comes reddish gochugaru
@@MillionZillionI would say brown sugar, that’s what I add bc the chilli oil and soy sauce makes it salty so sugar balances it out

The only thing this recipe is missing is a generous squirt of fresh lime juice! Absolutely Delicious!

Or a splash of vinegar.

A lady on IG made this (same noodle style) and topped with green onions, and people love it.
I could eat that all day. I’d definitely add chicken or shrimp but that’s the true beauty of making things yourself 😊 Thanks for the short. 🙏🏻

I seriously would eat these every day before I went gluten free! Now I eat them every day with rice noodles, LOL! But nothing beats that texture!
Hiii! Did u use the crunchy peanut butter or the og one? Thank you!
Wow so u have dyslexia
Nice food for short time making fr
These squiggly knife cut noodles just taste better than normal shaped noodle. I absolutely don't know why
For one thing, the ruffled edges allow them to hold more sauce and give them a slightly chewier texture.
Where did you buy the knife cut noodles? Many thanks 😊
Should i use sweetened peanut butter or unsweetened peanut butter
I wanted a crunch so added celery but open to other suggestions
Cucumbers work well. Chopped
Yummy
I can eat this everyday but i cant make it everyday😂
You know what I am going to try this with tahini (sesame paste) instead of peanut butter
What was the spice you added before gochugaru?

The end result looked so good.
I used to buy the Samyang fire noodles and eat them many times a week, sometimes throw peanut butter in to melt. Now I'd get ulcers lol

I love peanut (sesame) noodles with chilli oil. But they tighten up so quickly, I have to moisten them up constantly with broth (or noodle water)... 😅
Every time I see recipes like this I get excited because it looks delicious, then sad because half of the ingredients I can't get anywhere near me. 😢
can i use chili crisp instead of chili oil?
What style of noodle is this?
