Collective Soul was a band that didn't get nearly enough of the credit and stature they deserve.
So many great songs, so many brilliantly written songs. Sad, happy, tragic, they wrote it all.
"Heavy" was one of the songs I played again and again, "The world I know", was another.
They were a singing shadow that we all saw and heard, but knew little about.
I'm gonna listen to them now!
They had their own record label after I think three albums… they played it smart….
@@hellomyfriend9227 But they played the weirdest venues sometimes.
God I love them. So many memories just driving to no where blasting them full volume...thats a good life.
Sure is
You too?
Such a very underrated band. This whole album was great.
Holy shit this sounds amazing ! Really shows how amazing of a vocalist Ed Is ! Such a gem too and it even has Ross !
Double bonus!
A band that was never really given their due. Great tunes on every record by these guys.
because that time Bonjovi releases Crossroads album.
1997 what a great year
Got to see these guys in Louisville way back in 2000. It was a great show. Their guitar riffs are so underrated!
Did they play Skin at the show you went? Freaking love that song
Ross was the glue that held the true sound of the band together.
Truly amazing artists. God bless them
My mom introduced me to Collective Soul. When I heard The World I Know, I fell in love. When they released Dosage, I was hooked. I have so many wonderful memories listening to that album with my friends.
"The World I Know" is my favorite song of the 90s.
Brilliant. Great sounding studio. Guitars are so crisp
Perfection on an early morning. Thanks for the great memories. I saw you play in Detroit, years ago. Such a memorable evening.
Damn, this song reminds me of high school…yeah, I’m old.
Fuck I miss the 90’s
Guitar theme is truly mesmerising!!! Excellant song. I was introduced to Collective Soul way back in 90s by one of the music shop owner knowing I love rock.
Born in '63 I wager this plays very well in 2063... beautiful ❤️

Thank you for the video!♥☺♥
VERY VERY COOL!
Why drink the water from my hand?
Contagious as you think I am
Just tilt my sun towards your domain
Your cup runneth over again
Don't scream about, don't think aloud
Turn your head now, baby, just spit me out
Don't worry about, don't speak of doubt
Turn your head now, baby, just spit me out
Why follow me to higher ground?
Lost as you swear I am
Don't throw away your basic needs
Ambiance and vanity
Don't scream about, don't think aloud
Turn your head now, baby, just spit me out
Don't worry about, don't speak of doubt
Turn your head now, baby, just spit me out
December promise you gave unto me
December whispers of treachery
December clouds are now covering me
December songs no longer I sing
Don't scream about, don't think aloud
Turn your head now, baby, just spit me out
Don't worry about, don't speak of doubt
Turn your head now, baby, just spit me out
Don't scream about, don't think aloud
Turn your head now, baby, just spit me out
Geez - talk about underrated. Fantastic vocal 👌
Ross Childress!
💯💪🏼
Hell yeah
Good stuff
I will watch anything Ross Childress
Late 90s/early 2000s was the best time. Howard was King, Rock was still a thing, and always looking forward to the next FHM or Maxim magazine...
Rock is still a thing, quit living in the past and expand your horizons.
@@FPSBuzz Stop pretending you don't understand that he means Rock isn't mainstream anymore.
Reading replies helps me understand the words and meaning better ,I used to think he said a trip to Maine, duh
🎅☃️🎄☃️🤶
Anyone know why they don't perform middle part when they do this acoustic? This is the second time they skipped over it playing it acoustic .
Thar harmony between them... got danm son
Childress was the Brian Jones of that band.
