    Hey girl hey! I just want you to know that this video was extremely helpful for me. I'm pregnant and I actually plan on exclusively pumping just because my partner has expressed that he really wants to be a part of feeding our baby and I was a nanny for 10+ years and know that moms struggle with detachment the longer they breastfeed. I have searched for and watched a lot of content around exclusively pumping but I feel like your video had a lot of good information in it and also kind of explains really well what it will be like for like a normal person exclusively pumping. (There is a lot of content out there about specific situations leading to a mom being forced or choosing to pump exclusively that I just have no way of knowing if they will apply to me)

      I’m so glad it’s helpful! Nursing wasn’t absolutely horrible for me but it also wasn’t the best experience and I honestly felt closer and more joyful about feeding my baby once I switched to pumping. I hope it goes well for you!❤

      I hear you about your partner, and what research says about the mother. What does the research say is best for the BABY? Wouldn't you want to do that? Isn't skin to skin feeding best for the baby?

    • @sabrinaklass
      @sabrinaklass  7 месяцев назад

      @@1bluegreen2 my baby was never able to latch onto me without a nipple shield, which often made her more frustrated during feeding because she was unable to get milk easily and it came off all the time. What I chose for her was a lot less stressful for her as well as me. What’s important is that you love and spend lots of time with your babies, not that you do everything exactly by the book, especially when it doesn’t work out perfectly like everyone expects. As for a partner feeding the child, there’s no reason a baby cannot bond on their father during feedings too. It is not the same as on the mother, but that physical contact of being held is what’s important for the child❤️

      @@sabrinaklass I see! Thanks for the insight! I thought you chose to do it that way all things being even. Obviously it's what's best for your baby if the alternative is a frustrating feed. I perceived the message as an unmeasured greenlight to just do bottle feed without any added consideration. I apologize for what may have been a more self righteous response on my end. Thanks for your material. 💕

      @@1bluegreen2 It’s all good! It wasn’t what I expected but I’m hoping with the next child breast feeding will be easier!❤️

    I’m glad I ran across your content! Very informative! I’m pregnant and I know I’ll have to exclusively pump when I return to work. I hope my insurance will let me rent a pump and I just bought the Elvie wearable pump to use at work.

    What setting do you usually use? I’m new to this pump and have been trying different things. I unfortunately do not get above 4 ounces of milk on a good day. It’s mostly 2-3 ounces. Thank you!

      I think I was using settings 4 to 6 but no higher than that. I started off slower and then increased every few minutes ❤️

      I’m currently using the Kendamil Organic Infant formula. I want to do a review on it soon so people can know all the details but I absolutely love it. It has very clean ingredients and also a realistic price for most parents ❤️

      If you can find someone to donate breastmilk that's a great option as well.

      I am able to empty out rather quickly so I found I didn’t need to go longer than that but everyone’s different! Also, that’s good to know!❤️

    Hi how month old is your baby? How much do you give her per feed? I am exclusive pumper also and my baby is 6months I feel like my milk isn't enough, I only produce 3oz max per session every 4hrs

    • @sabrinaklass
      @sabrinaklass  6 месяцев назад

      In this video I believe she was almost 6 months old and she was eating around 5 to 6 ounces every 3 hours or so. 3 ounces may not be enough, so I would suggest supplementing with formula for a while. It’s best to be on the safer side with their intake of food! ❤️❤️
