Hands down most enjoyable video I’ve seen on RUclips in years. It has literally everything I look for in a video. Sewing, thrifting, fits and super clean editing. Love the shots, colors, sound design. You can really tell you’re putting in effort to every aspect of your RUclips/sewing craft and I appreciate it! Keep it up please!!!
The quality of this video is top tier…love the way you showcased the clothing. Everything fit so well.
The blue outfit is my favorite. I enjoyed this video very much. Although, I have been watching all your sewing videos because I am a beginner and was gifted a Singer 4411. This video force me to salvage some shirts I was going to donate. I will reuse them. Thank you for taking the time to create and share
I have 100% time for this style of video. Fits were TOP TIER!!! Cool to see more of your personality in this vid.
It can’t be said enough, your content is top tier. As an Optician, I’m living for the orange glasses. If you need new specs, I’m your go to 🙌🙌
6:45 haha this was so fun to watch. Especially this scene! Made sewing a fun adventure.
I’m new to sewing and have made a few dresses. Still not perfect at it but…..
I love thrifting as well. I moved to Ohio from Montreal. I do miss the thrift stores back home.. such a powerhouse for finding excellent things. Do more of these videos, who doesn’t like thrifting and then making it your own? Haha. Nice!
Yes, absolutely more like this! Beautiful video and we get to see more of your unique you!
I liked the blue shirt outfit the best. With black shades. 🤗🙌
Everything about this video is absolute fire 🔥🔥
great that you show the thrifted finds then how you style them, great stitching on that hat brim very nice! Untucked shirt looks better, tucked in is just so office worker? My favourite outfit was the blue shirt outfit, with yellow glasses...also this style of video is inspiring as we all see stuff we like but when you get it home the tricky bit is deciding what to wear with it.
Nice video.....I like the "thrifting...styling" idea. It's a nice variation (but I still want your sewing vids, too).....And, I like the untucked look best.
That blue dragon shirt is sweeet!
Your videos is really entertaining to me. The way you research about the brand is really show how dedicated you are. Thank you for the videos
Please do more thrift store items that you can turn to new. It will encourage more people to go out and upcycle second hand clothes. Price seem a bit high for thrifted items but always good to recycle.
Love, loved the video!! Not only enjoyed your sewing and thrifting, but you took me down a nostalgic road! I shopped weekly in Kensington for the 16 years I lived in Toronto. I got great deals there - I knew them all and they treated me well!! (The St Lawrence was great too - I went there for meat and fish!) my absolute favourite place to thrift was Courage, My Love. Is it still there? It's been years since I traded in the big city for country living. I miss places like Kensington, but not the overcrowded city!!
Courage, My Love is still there!!!! That's where I got the pinky ring I wear in all my videos and I LOVE IT. That place has a ton of gems. Are you still in Ontario? Yeah, it's nice to be able to subway or bike to Kensington on busy days but I'm sure there are many country side perks :)
this is exactly the type of video ive been looking for. keep up this style of video!!
Love the earphones as a small accessory for the Y2K outfit ❤
This style of video is binge worthy! Thank you for such fun and informative content!
Sick editing! I loved the storytelling format, mixing vlogs, DIY montages, and fit vids. It's cool to see a bit more behind your process of (literally) building an outfit. First video of yours I watched, and it earned a sub, would love more in this style.
Love this new format and the seamless (pun intended) transition to the diy kit promo took me by suprise. Great video😀👍
Bro your productions is fire, nice camara work and some serious editing, love it stg
unbelievable great deal on all those clothes. Love the soft look of the shirts & comfortable look of the linen pants - they are SOOO in style now. nothing like a relaxed fit to make the day
Absolutely love this video style. Your little insights into the linen pants and tailoring is really encouraging and inspirational. Would love to watch more videos lie this one.
Glad you enjoyed the video Sheeva :) I plan on putting more of these out for sure!
ughhhh. the pearl necklace is the icing to that fit.
Loved it all except the pearls, especially with cowboy boots. Not doing it for me, but you do you! 😎 Great style and format. I’m a new subscriber 🎉
thank you :) :)
I def think you should branch out into these kinds of videos! your sewing advice is sooo good, but you clearly have knowledge about everything & your opinions are always presented so well! if you branched out into all of the foundations of fashion you'd be a cornerstone for mens fashion
Very nice and good work. I liked it , please do some more.
more! thrifting! vids! also, if you're ever in the midwest... let's go!!! ♻🌎
All elements of the video blended well together…thrift..sew..style and fit.
Need more videos like this
LOVE THIS!! Thrifting, tailoring and styling!!! Also respected that you looked into the brands!
diggin that green bean
The green bean is blessed. S/O to Exile in Kensington Market
Great format. You look extra happy dong this style of video. A pleasure to watch. My first post....Had to say I love it when you model your finds. You put a lot of thought into the thrift purchase and the end result is very very nice. Thx.
You should do a kit and tutorial on a denim jacket and bomber jacket!! Struggling to find a good tutorial/pattern and your videos are amazing for learning!! Just watched video on what next to sew sooo pleaseee do a denim jacket and bomber jacket 😭❤️
You’re on to something man. Cool video.
Love the style of this video, look forward to more. :)
$60 for all these Pieces (not including the last item): A deal or nah?
Teal Shirt: Tucked or untucked?
Eyewear: Orange light-tinted glasses or Ray Ban Wayferers?
The Last Thrift: Should I have copped the Green L.L. Bean Shirt or the baby blue long sleeve polo?
Thoughts on what I should do next?
Honestly not a good deal. I woulda payed ungodly amounts for the dragon shirt but I think you overpayed a little on every other item, I feel like you can get Kenneth coal and George new at macys for a similar price. thrift store prices are obv shooting up and idk where you live but I try to stay away from $10 shirts
60 for me sounds good. But probably it depends also in which country you live
I don’t know for other types of pants but in this case definitely tucked. Try to tucked it even more. Not completely but slightly to bend. I am not sure how this will look like, because it depends from material of the shirt, but you can try to test it.
I'm in UK it sounds OK price wise to me and you are preventing clothing going into landfill so win win I say
Hands down I love it
I think this is great ❤ the dramatic sewing 😭😂💔are you always this dramatic 😢❤omG I’m not alone
this felt like a movie
Awesome video! I thought you overpaid a bit for the Kenneth Cole trousers but then again you are in a Toronto (expensive) and they worked out well with what you were wearing! And no alts so not a bad price. I thought untucked looked good but when I saw them side-by-side I have to say tucked for the first look! The chamois LL Bean shirt is awesome!
Criminally underrated editing skills. How can you not sub??
TRUTH !!!!
Hi Gee excellent video. Man u got serious swag. Love ya from Lo in Detroit
untucked looks like a more casual look but you wear the tucked nicely as well
Orange glasses for sure
Awesome and yes please more of these 💙
that blue shirt with the bucket hat is the "LOOK" awesome style
these shots seemed effortless and just fun! hope you had an amazing day 🫡
love this video format!!!
keep doing what you're do'in!!! It is working well. Video is perfect - people love seeing the real world outside where you are
My first video by you was really great to watch. The content and format kept me captivated the whole time. I love the fits. Your style is a bit classic with a zing!
Amazing video format!! I feel like your personality really came through here, i also love the editing and font choices. Love love love it. And the green shirt completed the last outfit PERFECTLY
Don’t know what your previous style/format was, but I’m digging this. Love seeing the original pickup and how you turned it into what you wanted
Nice vid :) just want to see more thrift modifications. That’s interesting
Tucked or untucked......you wear it well. Great job!!
Awesome video, would love to see more and more on the actual adjustments you made!👏👏
Cool video, I really like this style of video. More of a lifestyle type of video. I think both tucked and untucked look good, and I prefer the wayfarers. My jaw dropped when you just made a bucket hat lol. Can you make a video on tailoring and thrifting for beginners?
I like this style of video.
Bro, it's refreshing to get content like this from u
keep up bro, your videos are worth more than you'd ever believe
nice video!
sick fits and video. Need a tutorial on DIY alterations!
I'm planning a few! There are so many videos I want to make, so little time 🥲
@@GloryAllani’ll be patient, i know whatever the goat puts out next will be top-notch anyways 🔥
The blue shirt is firee 🔥
hey man, this video was fire. keep them coming GA.
Amazing video, love the format!!
Love this format of video. Also could you do a tutorial for the high cut on the hem of the LL Bean shirt.
That woven pattern on the george shirt is called jacquard 😁
Thanks 😁😁
$60 for all that you got is a deal. I browsed to the US Eddie Bauer website and one decent shirt there would cost more than what you paid -- and their quality has gone down.
Teal Shirt: Tucked or untucked? Both. Untucked provides a chill vibe while tucked the look came across as dress casual and suitable for meetings.
Eyewear: Orange light-tinted glasses win, in my opinion.
The Last Thrift: Didn't see a baby blue long sleeve polo at the last thrift shop.
I am new to your channel, about to start sewing and definitely older than you (won't say by how much) and I thought that this video was a great addition. It is a way to get to know who you are and hear your opinions on different styles as well as see them on you so that there is context to the thoughts you share. I think that mixing it up with videos of this style on occasion is a good thing. Some of my favorite creators on RUclips let us get to know them by sharing a glimpse of who they are, how they think, what they like and why. This video did that. I think it helps to build retention and loyalty to the channel.
You could take those loafers to a cobbler and get traction sole put on it! They look great!
Need more of these for sureeee fam.
Loved this video would be good to see a video on a few basic tailoring techniques you can use to adjust clothes you've thrifted
Yes, make more of these IF you need more clothes. Or just shop your own closet and show how you pair your clothes. I was sent over here by another sewist. I love sewing and I'm glad to see you are passionate about it also. Have fun!
Good styling I Do the same I buy large mens shirts and coats and cut them down to fit me. It’s fun and I keep busy.
i think I'm in love hahaha
Please give us more videos like this!
great shirts, nice handsome smile ;)
Just discovered this channel. I appreciate the style of your videos. I enjoy the content of the work. Keep it up 💯
The prefer the Ray bans, all the way 😊
How nice is this video! Makes me want to go thrifting in Toronto
Great video! Would love to see a "How to modify thrifted peaces” video!
This was my first video of yours i really enjoyed this
You could probably get a cobbler to put a rubber sole on the cole haan shoes so they don't slip
this is some good shit. keep it up 🙌
Dope video, More like this please!!
Love this style of video, thanks for showing your process 💯
2nd and final fit go krazy.... the linen pants were def the cop of the vid. Prolly overpaid on the cole haan pants tho; I def would've paid -only 7-10 for something here in the states. I like this new series tho! Will def stay tuned for the next vids
Great video overall, would love to see more of this content!
U secured the bag
Loved this video
I FW the elements used to hang up stuff on the wall behind you heavy
fun ones and untucked
Great finds!! Thank you for posting!
Fun yelloooo
Awesome video!
60 for all this sounds great
yes
good stuff man
dope video bro!
Untucked Glory.
