An accurate formula for dosage is to multiply weight in pounds x the desired lab level. For instance, 100ng/ml is my target lab level. I weigh 180 lbs. 180 x 100 is 18,000 iu daily. I have taken 20,000 for 3 months. The slightly higher dose calculated to an expected level of 111ng/ml. I was 113ng/ml just days ago. Very accurate formula without labs.
That is a good idea actually. Much appreciated
Thank you for sharing 👍👍
Good luck on the run. I always thought that a lower resting heart rate (within reason) was a sign of better heart health.
Yes the lower your heart rate the better, the higher your heart rate variance (HRV) the better.
Lower heart rate is not better. In fact a healthy metabolism would yield a heart rate of around 80 beats per minute. The idea that a lower heart rate is better comes from a mechanistic idea of health. As if human beings were machines that have a finite span of operation before it breaks. We have the ability to replace ourselves however so the hayflick limit isn't necessarily applicable to humans. The other reason people think a high heart rate is bad is because most people are achieving high heart rates through the adrenaline system instead of the rejuvenative thyroid system. High adrenaline is catabolic and harmful long term so any associations made with heart rate here are moot since these heart rates are achieved through stress.
How much K2 do you take. I have that same book and he didn't specify. How much magnesium do you take?
If your HRV has gone down, it could be that you are not taking enough magnesium. This mineral is key for heart function. In my experience, high levels of vitamin D3 means high energy levels. Your heart is involved in energy regulation. If you have made a big jump from very low levels of D3 to high levels, your heart needs to catch up. I take 10,000IU VD3 daily but with K2 and magnesium. Even with this dose I see big increases in energy levels and testosterone, both of which have a big impact on my heart.
You must also take magnesium with it or your magnesium levels will drop and the vitamin d will not absorb and cause problems
Do you get any from the sun or use something like mitolix to get natural d3 4000IU in 5 min plus the sun you could supplement less and the D3 you make behaves differently.
Have you been tested for hyperparathyroid? Low vitamin D can be an indication of low D. ❤
after one week taking 40 000 IU I could sleep better and wake up energised, i also supplement magnesium and k2 daily
Daily?
@@user-kl6os3gd5s yes
hey buddy! how is it going ? are you still taking vitd3?
He's dead
Also recent covid vaccinations can use up vit d3
Vit D3, magnesium, K2, Boron.
That's pretty much what I am taking as well
You must take magnesium and zinc supplements for you to fully metabolise D3 at the dosage your taking, else the D3 will not give you the benefits it could.
I probably should do a video where I talk about the magnesium and zinc I also take
Really there is now ideal dosage. Its arbitary it depends on your blood level to begin with. I'd say optimal blood level 110 to 180 nm/l. Depending on your calcium and phospate levels. It should also ge noted that high bolus doses causes a decrease it blood d as body goes into panic and stops absorbing. Little and often is better.
