I absolutely love riding along in these flights! I learn so much, and I enjoy the relaxation and fun of aviation, and your geography degree! Thanks so much for sharing your enjoyment of life!
I absolutely enjoyed your relaxing flight in the lovely Beech Bonanza. And I agree with your comments during the taxi to the parking area. I, too, don't need everything to be study level in every instance. Most of my flying is GA... just sightseeing and enjoying the views ❤
I passed through Lone Pine in 2009, on a road trip. We stopped for fuel here, on way to Death Valley. I’ve flown the whole trip in FS2020. Cannot wait for FS 24.
I’ve also driven through there, on the way back to OC (where I was living at the time) from Reno (I was there for the air races of course). Nice to see it from above.
Nice to see a complete, shortish VFR flight from takeoff to landing, which is the way I and I suspect many others love to use the sim. Also liked your appraisal of the place that less-than-'study-level' aircraft have in one's hangar. And, taxi back and parking. Thanks for making and sharing!!
Beautyful plane. This one and the Mooney Ovation are my favourite GA single props. I love every Carenado in my Hangar. I'm very exited what the FS-2024 will add to those planes. On "Study Level" - I really have no need for every screw in danger to lose nut to have fun in the sim - If the Start up is reasonalble and the flight mechanics are "close enough" I am happy with flying around the places.
and no Doctors where harmed too..... glad to see your war against ground scenery is still ongoing... a touch of paint and no one will know.... have fun... i loved the little Yorkshire slip through "int' it" .... reminds me of when i live in uk....
@@FTStratLP Yes, but AVAngel was talking about all the Famous Flyers getting upgraded with a tablet for MSFS2024 and she wanted to be able to hide it, but wasn't sure if that was possible.
I really enjoyed this video. I fly my A2A Bonanza in P3D and it's a fun airplane. Continental has a bulletin out that we're not supposed to run the Bonanza engine for lengthy periods below 2,300 rpm. Something about a counterweight eventually going wonky which then causes the pistons to start swapping holes. Keep on keepin' on.
28:50 Thought photogrammetry was playing tricks on you but there is a small gravel strip on Forest Route 2253 - 10 miles from anything so likely forestry service stuff.
I so enjoy every chance I get to fly along to with you, Angel. You do a great job of making these flights feel like a real world ride-along. I’ve always thought your voice reminds me of a certain actress, but can’t place which one. Has anyone ever told you that before?
Love the Bonanza. My grandfather flew them in his private life, after piloting the C46 and C47 in WWII, and often took me up as a teenager. One time he dropped the yoke into my lap and instructed me while my sister was in the backseat. She was less than thrilled haha. I fly the Carenado version in the sim as well. Hoping the A2A version makes it in at some point, if it hasn't already (haven't checked in a while).
Great plane, great video! I was expecting to see this Elvis jet released by Big Radials, but apparently no-one wants to cover it this last week - is it that good 😂😂
Hi AvAngel, I do enjoy your content. My own flying has taken a step up recently due to an upgrade of my VR headset, which is allowing me to read the PFD and MFD (no more Quest 2 DLSS blurries). So I am finally taking the time to learn the autopilot functionality, in preparation for career mode in MSFS 2024. I am counting down the days. Have a lovely day :)
That one spot on the river would make a "dam" good spot downstream for swimming. I loved that gentle flight in California. Good one. I have an idea to be different from so many other MFS2020 RUclipsrs. How about flying over famous movie/tv sites? Or over famous crime scene's? Like where Manson and his followers use to live or the sites his people went to. Dont forget OJSImpsons. Or famous locations where famous gansters were finished off at. Then theres the Beatle location of the UK. Endless ideas. I wanted to do them but Im too dumb to record mfs2020. I dont have the gift of the gab like some do. You do lol. Ok, thanks again. Rick from Vancouver, BC, Canada signing off!
It looks like the physical tablet won’t be present in all aircraft, but available as a pop out window from the toolbar in all aircraft. This way it won’t be there for cockpits that don’t suit it (Charles Lindbergh with a tablet in the Spirit of St. Louis?!) and also have access to it’s functionality in 3rd party aircraft that don’t add the actual tablet in the cockpit.
This plane is very attractive considering all the upgrades coming in FS24. As long as all famous flyers and local legends get the upgrades. With openable doors, EFB, wear and tear and preflight features this will become an extremely good GA plane!
Aren't the prop amps only for the prop de-ice? Anyway, I thought I was only going to watch the first ten minutes, but found myself captivated by the entire flight! Thanks for sharing! 😁
Regarding the tablet, I saw on someone else's stream of the tech alpha that they managed to hide it by pressing the on/off button on the side, though the suction cup stayed visible on the window 🙂
While I love the V35, I haven't touched a single Carenado in my Hangar since Just Flight, A2A and more recently, Black Square came into my life. I'm praying Carenado's 2024 defaults are up to a higher standard.
2ToneMurphy found the tablet hide button while checking out the 2024 Alpha build .. it is the little on/off button on the tablet. A bit fiddly maybe but at least it's there.
First thought was... just another stupid MSFS video.... But, to my surprise, it was very entertaining and your educational aspect was really interesting. Thank you. I am going to check out these points next flight.

This is one of my favourites. Great video. Thank you so much.
We could all use a little chill for sure. Lovely flight. Thank you AvAngel! 👍🏻
Glad you enjoyed it
Nerves suitably soothed after the terror of the A310 . . . Great flight, loved it!

I used to go to college in Deep Springs Valley right next to Lone Pine! Loved it there.
I’ve also driven through there, on the way back to OC (where I was living at the time) from Reno (I was there for the air races of course). Nice to see it from above.

Gosh Yorkshire is infesting me after all these years
The V35 from Carenado. The first pay ware that I ever purchased and still one of my favorites to fly.
Pero ¿como se hace para comprar en Carenado aviones para MSFS2020? Yo he querido comparar aviones Piper y Cessna y no hay precio ni nada.
@@Rhalejandt in-game store? Carenado website? Resellers?
I'd like to get rid of the tablet in ALL of the aircraft. I want to pull it up only as I need it, and then put it away. Hope it works like that.
The tablet can be hidden with a click spot and with the Tabulator key shortcut, from what I heard in Tech Alpha videos.
@@Jigsaw407This video is MSFS 2020

My favourite Caronado plane
The original town of Lake Isabella is at the bottom of the lake.. they had to move the town to the current location.

I believe that the "prop amps" refers to the anti-icing system for the propeller. I could be wrong!
Aren't the prop amps only for the prop de-ice? Anyway, I thought I was only going to watch the first ten minutes, but found myself captivated by the entire flight! Thanks for sharing! 😁
That would likely do it :D
I wish msfs would have more cars in the scenery. Just make it feel more real and immersive.

In the real world the fire tower isn't there anymore. Ironically it burned down many years ago.
"Like a flight lieutenant's Butt Cheeks" !?!😯 .... I Love It! (the phrase and the landing not necessarily the cheeks)
I've seen some of the demos using the aircraft with no visible tablet, but they pull it up via the top bar... so there must be SOME way to hide it.
