Is there a reaso you used a metal spacer after saying to use sch 40 pvc pipe?

The metal spacer came with the kit so that it was we decided to use. You can use the sch 40 pvc if you buy a kit that doesn't come with spacers.

Any way to calculate the preload amount adjusted for rider weight? Or is that what Race Tech does for you when they give you the preload spec? Otherwise you could go through this process only to find you have too much or too little dynamic sag.

The measurement that Race Tech gives you should give you the right sag number if you have the correct spring rate for your weight. But the preload measurement is just the spring's free length minus the installed length.
