Oppenheimer is a 2023 epic biographical thriller film written and directed by Christopher Nolan. Based on the 2005 biography American Prometheus by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin, the film chronicles the life of J. Robert Oppenheimer, a theoretical physicist who was pivotal in developing the first nuclear weapons as part of the Manhattan Project, and thereby ushering in the Atomic Age. Cillian Murphy stars as the titular character, with Emily Blunt as Oppenheimer's wife, Katherine "Kitty" Oppenheimer, Matt Damon as General Leslie Groves, Oppenheimer's military handler, and Robert Downey Jr. as Lewis Strauss, a senior member of the United States Atomic Energy Commission. Other members of the supporting cast include Florence Pugh, Josh Hartnett, Casey Affleck, Rami Malek, and Kenneth Branagh.

Perhaps some people interpret his work as pretentious, but others see it as ambitious and thought-provoking. It's all about individual interpretations. It might be too much for you but people do enjoy good cinema.

I went to a nearby INOX and that was the worst cinema experience I've ever had. First they delayed and later asked if we want to see it in Hindi and later cancelled the show. I'm hoping to watch it in PVR next week in different city as no tickets are available as of now.

I have this thought that if the review wasn't shot in the early hours of morning then the reference to North east would have not be there ...... because men are most vulnerable and honest in the time period of 2-5 in morning.
The only reason the reference to north east would have passed in their review is because of the time of shoot.
As they both have safely been distant from such issues in past.

Movie was so extraordinary. It was intend to be a drama style or dialogue based movie or documentary type film. So about lots of dialogue: it was intended to be like that.

Have to say this movie is more about the outlook of life than you could ever imagine. The cinematic excellence that Nolan has brought on the silver screen. Plus you didn't get the understanding of the film at all. You should watch it again.

If you think Interstellar is Nolan's best film till date then you are plainly idiots. Oppenheimer is definitely among the top 3 or 4 Nolan films ever, right up there with Memento, The Prestige and Inception. And it is probably the best Hollywood film of the last 10 years

I am not sure. But some of Nolan's movie grows. The more you watch inception/interstellar, the more u love it. Probably in 2years time, we say that oppenheimer is Nolan's best. But I do believe that beating Interstellar will be way tough.
