Apart from his obvious player skill , his demeanour with the officials is exemplary as are his press credentials . A great guy . Hope he stays with us in Glasgow
Sione is a quality guy. I have been really impressed by his whole attitude, approach, involvement of his fellow players. I also agree 6 out of 10 is about right. If they are going to beat France and Ireland, that wouldn't have happened with that performance. Too many errors that top teams don't do.
SIONE TUIPULOTU a Tongan guy born in Australia with an Australian accent representing and captaining Scotland. How utterly bizarre is international rugby. Ireland having a Maori plus another two Kiwis is just as bizarre and then there is the South African winger playing for Scotland and then there are all the Fijians, Samaons, Tongans playing in NZ and OZ. I think that unless you were born in a country and raised there, you should not be able to represent that country PERIOD!!!!
They're there because some people who were born and raised in those respective countries picked them! Forward your comment to World Rugby, see how that works out for you... David Campese had a go at Joe Schmidt because he doesn't know Australian culture...I mean c'mon Campo...give yourself an uppercut
Utter rubbish, people have to move around the world for a variety of reasons, the global nature of the world should be seen as a good thing. He has Scottish blood he can represent Scotland
Half of the islanders on the Aus team were born and raised in Aus, and the other half moved there at a very young age as children and grew up in Australia and gained citizenship. There’s nothing wrong with representing a country in that case
Top man Sione. All the best people come from Greenock.
Congrats Scotland and Sione. Definitely the better team in this match. From a Wallabies fan.

Good down to earth guy.

Agreed (and I'm a Scot) - think Toony feels the same though. His post-match interview was not glowing in any way
Paddy's relation? Like Monty Ioane, is he related to Reiks?
Digby Ioane the Tongan wallaby winger is his uncle.
RA must feel pretty stupid letting this bloke go.
