I find Joe Schmidt interviews to be some of the most informative. Less cliches and more honest reflection than most coaches.

I’m so happy for Australia that they have Joe Schmidt as their coach. He’s such a calm, steady head which is exactly what they need. Great to see (although they lost this game) how much they’ve improved. They are definitely on the right track. 🇿🇦

A wounded Wallaby fan here, tuning in to hear what Joe could possibly say about our performance against Scotland today. I do like that he's honest, measured believes in the Wallabies. That, along with what I've seen him bringing to the team, gives me hope.

What a great coach Joe is. Very well spoken and level-headed. If he can't turn the Wallabies around, no one can. I wish the Wallabies all the best and hope they get back near the top in the world soon...and I'm a die hard AB supporter with two black eyes!

Great coach, respect to Joe with a new group of fast, athletic & skilled playing squad. But if the Wallabies had tackled this badly & lost their back-line shape so regularly against England, the Wallabies would have lost that match too!

Joe is the right coach for such a young Aussie team. We are seeing a lot more courageous but strategic placements and changes which if it works out and everyone finds their suitable positions, this team will be giving the all blacks a run for their money and favourable to win the world cup comes 27.

Australian's are still trying to tackle with their arms and hands. Especially in loose play when the line is broken. In those cases someone has to stand up and make the strong tackle and snuff out the attack. They must limit the offloads.

We played safe instead of playing attacking rugby. Somehow bringing McDermott on late in the game is not a great ploy. And I would keep Skelton on till he is on his knees. He brings considerable weight to the lineout and the rucks and mauls. Go for points rather than a possible seven pointer in the corner. 78% of them have never come off.

Scotand were the better side on the day well done by them but it also come down playing Skelton Wilson and Valintini together who cannot jump. First Half Scotland created so many lineouts which was there advantage. Felt this week I going to call Joey, Eddie Junior since he made the same mistake Eddie made in the world cup. Forgot how important the lineout is in a game of Rugby.
