The young lady that gave custody of her kids to her ex husband is one of the best kind of mothers a child could have. She's brave, smart, and sefless, I wish she hadn't spent so much time beating herself up. No one should ever look down on her for that.

My friend offered two ceremonies to me and put the money up for me knowing about my rough past. I walked in terrified but walked out feeling unified...not with just the world, but with my true self. I let go of everything and decided to reconnect with my mom after being estranged for almost a decade...while it(reconnecting) didn't work out, it brought much needed closure to my life which resulted in unfamiliar happiness that I thought was a farce. I recommend this to anyone that has a heavy past(anyone really because it's all relative)...I never felt so good and 3 years later I still remember the perspectives I learned over that weekend and I'm so thankful for it...I cried for 5 hours the first one and did nothing but smiled the second one and beyond. I saw a beautiful woman covered in eyes that had a whole conversation with me without speaking...if that makes sense. So, if the opportunity falls in your lap you're blessed. What's a new lease on life worth to you?

I too, have an extremely rough past and i feel like this will really enlighten me and relieve me of a lot. Ive been in therapy for the past two years and have made very little progress. I hope to one day actually go to Kentucky and do the ceremony.

This was really well made. I got pretty emotional watching this. I could feel their pain and understand where they were coming from. These people are doing a great thing to let people get over their pain and past trauma by letting it all out in a non-judgemental environment. Ayahuasaca seems to let people let go of their inhibitions and mistrust to really be able to let it all out and overcome your fear of releasing emotions in front of others.

Iboga (and not ibogaine even though it is extracted from the Tabernanthe iboga plant) taken the traditional way is also the strongest hallucinogenic plant. The ceremony is called Bwiti. Among other things, it is a spiritual, physical and emotional healing plant (actually, it is the bark of the roots of the Tabernanthe iboga plant). The traditional session takes several days too. It comes from Gabon and Cameroon, West Africa, and it also is connected to a divinity.

Not only is the medicine divine the message they share with these ppl is beautiful, they’re just ordinary folks who understand and have compassion and that alone helps but with ayahuasca it’s a whole package. As a person who is on methadone for 17 years and now long acting morphine as methadone or subs never worked but the chains I feel are horrible. My whole adult life from 21 till 40 I’ve been on it and I know I deserve more for my kids and me but the sickness is horrible while you still have to work everyday and run a household as a single mom there’s no time to get better. I resonate with Nathan feeling how he did. I hope all these ppl feel a little lighter walking forward.

I only watched positive ( In fact I could not find any negative videos) Aya videos while researching For about 5 years before I traveled solo to Peru. 3 shamans, 2 retreats. There is a darker side…I equate it to eating from the tree of good and evil. Your eye will be Opened. whatever it is she chooses to show you, you can never unsee or unknow. If she chooses to be gentle with you, you are lucky... If not, I wish you the best and hold on tight. I definitely took the red pill! Although I did gain some benefit... I also came back and experience severe PTSD. If I try to smoke marijuana, it puts me in a place (without fail, after more than five years) To remember things I had blocked out because they were too scary or painful to face In the jungle. Some themes are aliens, Alien worlds I didn't belong in, And hell. This is the real deal folks... I didn't go into this without being prepared mentally and physically. I don't even like psychedelics!! Lol I went to deal with some real serious issues, Some of which I resolved. But my life has dramatically changed since coming home. A real shaman learns to work WITH the spirits, And help guide you Through your journey. He can protect you from negative entities; or so they say... But you are definitely leaving yourself vulnerable to picking up something less than desirable ( Think of a parasite that lives off your energy, But it needs to keep you in a state of low vibration so it can Sustain itself). I have yet to find a shaman who I can work with here in the United States. Any Psychiatrist who's worth his degree Would suggest medication. I don't need medication I need energy work. Anyone who's considering taking this do your research!! Know where you are going and who you will be working with including the shaman. Inquire about His Length and type of experience with lemedicine. Ask how he deals with negative entities. Know if you will be communicating directly or if he speaks your language. Know who made your brew and what is in it!!! I noticed at the 1st place, new (western)owner same old name... after drinking my cup about 3 ceremonies in...pouring from 2(!?!)bottles. Someone kept complaining that they didn't have any visions and everyone else had and they wanted them too... He said to her "We are going to make you an extra strong concoction tonight". That usually indicates you could be drinking a brew that contains one or more petals from the datura tree... Otherwise known as hell's Bells. It can make people's eyes change color, Give intense Bells and whistles trips, Can kill you, Make you go permanently mad, Among other things I have now researched. I still think Ayahuasca is An asset to humanity, Her job is to protect herself (the earth) and secondly to Show you truth. But everyone also sees a snake… Pretty much without fail a big black snake. What does the snake represent? Well besides medicine...lol It also The serpent who tempted Eve in the garden of Eden. That damn snake swallowed my head whole And took me to a very bad place. For lifetimes. You will die, You will experience Death as you (and everyone) have done so many times before. And that reality will definitely be much more real than the reality I'm looking at right now through the window. Good luck to everyone, The Earth is a perfect, Symbiotic Bunch of very very tiny things All appearing to be one big green ball. Oh...one more thing... I saw LOTS of people Thinking they're calling was to become a shaman ( Whether or through vision or through The encouragement of the working shaman) Who got westerners to pay them lots of money to open up their own retreat. Lots of promises made, very few if any fulfilled. I talked to more than one person that said they felt they were under the spell of the shaman, Even going back home. Remember we are on the Earth, Not of the Earth. We are a spiritual being Trapped inside an organic body, And just like being born... our spirit will At some point die from this body. Treat it well. You don't want to keep coming back here!! God-bless everyone give The Bible a shot, It may not be everyone's cup of tea- But it is certainly filled with prophecy. If you will read Alice-in-Wonderland please at least crack a Bible and get to know the love that Jesus has for all of us. Just my 2 cents. Good day people.

But you have to want to, and you have to work at it. Its not a fix-all. But for some people tripping can jar them enough and remind them of their place, effectively checking ego, as well as creating a "new start" and facilitating change.

this was interesting. But there were a few red flags here about how this man conducted his ceremony (or lack thereof).
I highly recommend all human beings to experience Mother Aya when they are ready ((the most magical, healing, life changing, exploration of unconditional love from the universe!!)) HOWEVER, the most important things to look into when doing your research on who to "sit" with:
    1. Where did they do their training? (which country)
    2. Who did they do their training with? (was is a reputable real life shaman?)
    3. How long did they do their training? (Most Shamanic Practioner's apprentice for around 10 years before holding ceremony)
    4. How long have they been holding ceremonies for?
    5. How do they prepare their medicine?
    6. Where do they source their medicine from?
    7. What processes do they go through to protect the space, hold the circle, and call in the spirits
Just as an FYI - usually if a non-indigenous person is blabbing and ego boasting that they are a Shaman. it means that they are NOT a real Shaman. You can't just go do a few workshops in Shamanic Practices and then call yourself a 'Shaman'.
No offence to this man, however something does seem a little bit off. I hope that they people who participate in his ceremonies have been protected and cleansed so that they do not pick up any 'bad' entities during the process.

If what you said is true then no white person would ever be able to master yoga. Mexicans wouldn't be able to ever make a cheese pizza right because they're ancestors never originated from italy. See how absolutely absurd that sounds? Not saying that this dude is the #1 shaman guru but anyone can do anything regardless of whether or not they're indigenous.

@@carlosburgess853 Wow you obviously have a lot of hate in your heart Sir, which is sad for you.
Nowhere in my comments does it say that white people can't be Shaman's? Quite the contrary. You have obscured my comments for your own agenda of hate speech.
If you had a historical background, studies or training in Shamanism, you would know the word 'Shaman' doesn't even originate from the America's, but actually Siberia, which is predominately a 'white' civilisation.
The word 'Shaman' became globally used not that long ago.
The majority of my Shamanic teachers are considered 'white people'. However, they are people of high integrity, string intention, and come from a place of unconditional love. They have also spent decades training and learning from the indigenous people of the American Continent and other countries, to learn the fine art of holding Shamanic space for healing.
My comment was a word of advice for anyone looking to partake in Shamanic healing, to make sure that they are choosing a healer that works with balance in Shadow and Light, and only works with true 'Spirits of Light' and not demonic forces.
It was a general comment, not specific to this particular man and his wife, who I can see do come from a place of loving intention.
Sourcing healing from people who do not carry a clear light channel can cause more damage than good.
All the best to you Sir on your journey.

Making this ceremony too religious shifts the focus from self-help, overcoming self and exploring one's self to a usual religious practice. Such practice also helps but it makes people rely on supernatural forces instead of growing their own force. Clinical studies show that psychedelic therapy should not necessarily be taken in religious context to be effective.

Anton Meshkov I completely agree, I think that if an individual feels safer relating their trip and experiences towards their religious belief then that’s great, it can be a tool to remind you of your values, but it’s risky to associate it completely with religion. It has to be a spiritual, personal experience, and you have to accept that you have no clue if it’s god, aliens, or your own mind, telling you the thoughts you hear and presenting the images you see. I think the religious part should be kept to yourself and should be shared with those who have the same beliefs, but to tie tripping to a certain religion all together is opening the door for doubt to creep in. We all have no clue what’s out there, so it’s natural to doubt a religion, since religion is people. Not god, people, and no one person can get religion down to a T, it’s all guessing. And doubt of a religion you once believed can lead to doubting to entire trip. Better to keep them separate.
