I like it the features equal performance. Mini RC’s have come along way. That smile says it all. Sometimes it’s not about how fast or how good it climbs it’s about having fun & enjoying all aspects of RC’s.
FMS is really stepping up the scale scene. I have the lime green jimny and love that thing. I'll definitely will be buying this as well as a few of there other vehicles. Keep up the great work and continue being honest as it helps us alot when choosing to buy rc's 😎👍. Enjoy your new and have a happy and healthy new years

Any furitek esc would be a great match for the 1:18 fms crawlers. I have had great great results with the furitek liko pro esc and highly recommend that you look into them as an upgrade. Even with a stock motor a furitek esc is awesome!
I like the vivid yellow. The new trucks are off yellow. I didn't know this older FMS had two speed. this is much like the new version from Hylukon.(and other brands). I have the Chevy blazer colored like the Old 1970s truck the orange/red with white dual tone. Can be converted to a pick up(which I did). mine does not have a rear window. Nor does it have an interior.-you have to buy it separate! I also bought mud guards(fenderwells front/back) so I could go in the mud.
Nice little truck. Wish u woulda taken body off so we could of seen motor and electronics and some more details. Like and appreciate ur thorough reviews Francis as always😁. Happy new year and god bless buddy.
Hear me out: Do you take the body off of these 1/18 trucks, and show us what is underneath? I have an scx24; I would enjoy putting one of these bodies on my smaller Axial but I have no idea the layout of electronics/motor/servo. Could you point me to a video where you review these 1/18 trucks "below the body?" Thank you! Your videos are great quality, and have offered me endless enjoyment. Cheers.
Great review! I really dig it but to me it looks like an 84-86 front end and grill I'm in the us so mabye in other country's this is an 83? I don't know can someone please educate me? haha regardless i still want it becouse i love yota's! Happy new year to everyone!
Great review 😁 fms really have outdone themselves with that little hilux ...I too have a fascination for thee Toyota's too and will probably start collecting them too haha thanks again mate 👍 hope the new year brings you happiness as I know the new stuff you bring to show us in 2022 will make us happy...stay safe mate
@@RCReviewChannel Ah. Makes sense! You mentioned in a previous video you were in the bike industry. I started working in shops in the mid nineties. Care to share what you do?
Happy new year Francis! That Toyota looks fantastic, thanks for another great review! Always love seeing your enthusiasm on this hobby, wishing you all the best. :)
Awesome video (the usual!) One thing I’d like to ask, looking through your videos have you ever done a review on the MST MTX-1 200$ little monster truck (like a smaller version of the Losi LMT but pretty neat straight axle 4x4 ground thumper ! Anyway you take care Have a good new year !
Would the Hilux be safe to use on pavement or just dirt & off road? I'm seriously considering purchasing one but don't have much actual dirt or anything like that around where I live & would be mostly using it.
I told myself I didn't need anymore models for a while, damn you had to review this awesome Toyota....my local favorite hobby shop has a bunch of FMS I'm sure they will have one soon. It just looks so cool, takes me back...great review again 👍👍
Well, FMS is doing a great job !! 👏Not like some old brand, offering 30-year-old stations and nimh batteries🤦🏻♂️ ... This hilux will go on the shelf along with the Kubelwagen! 👍🏼, .. Good review, as always. 👌
The slight paint variation is easy to explain. It's scale repainted bed. Repainted body panels hardly ever match. The bed got destroyed hauling motors and generators so it got replaced and painted to match!!!!🤣🤣🤣
too small for me, looks like a little toy car when it goes over a small stone with the pogo shocks, 1:10th or nothing and especially when they are selling them at 1:10 prices 😀
No idea where you get your information from. But I would have rather compared the FMS Chevy K10 to the EazyRC Glacier. What role does the Toyota model play... I have no idea! Instead of talking a lot about nothing, you could have mentioned that the FMS model has more controllable electronics. So if you claim that your posts are reviews, then I can only say that you are glad to know more competent channels. Anyone who talks about the cars, which they apparently just get sent to them, should have driven them beforehand so that they know what they are talking about!
FMS is kicking a** and taking names! Love the rig! Great video as always
Thanks 👍. Taking names for sure.
Kick names take ass
I love how much joy it brings him 😂 planing on getting one

I love it. I think Fms really knocked it outta the park with this one.

This is definitely not an 83’ body
Yeah I agree! I believe the grill should have vertical openings not the narrow horizontal grill style?
Absolutely right. I also had a 83 4x4. Fender flares are more like the 87-89.
Its a toy RC
@@moneymanjoe9639 yes we know that.....? But it's specifically says 1983 Hilux that's what we are talking about 👍

Totally agree. Here's to a great 2022
Thank you for the nice truck and good explanation.😄👍👍
very cool truck and a good size if you don't have a lot of space. thanks for the review
Space on the shelf and playing area too.
Love it looks really nice. But too pricey. I get gen 7's for 220.00 and can put different bodies on them.🙏😎☮️
Awesome video! I was waiting for a peek at the electronics and chasis!
Glad you liked it! The electronics and transmitter is identical FMS so I don't spend time on it anymore.

Looks really nice and some big new features as well! Not a fan of the color or stripes… but that can be changed easily. Great review as usual!
Agreed! Not perfect but some potential here.
Great review 👍 I agree with the color mismatch.
Cool, thanks. Yeah, it's worse in some light than others.
I am here for the openable hood 😁😁😁
In all seriousness, I like it so far but, I think the bed is a tad too long.
It is so long for any real crawling. Maybe bob the bed!
I think this is their most scale-realistic body so far - I love the realistic stance rather than jacking it sky high.
True, true. Work vehicle.
@@RCReviewChannel huge potential for customisation - I can see this all rusty and with a full-length roof-rack!

Is there any led for the tail and reverse light?
Seems like it has a setting for the rpm match, like the Hobbywing Fusion.
ahh, that may be it.

Nice modulation, pretty sweet but that shell. At least it's a different style another Hilux.

Very cool, I was hoping i was gonna get one for Review, i guess not this time LOL , great video
You should! I had to rush this one for the New Year (on their time zone) embargo
I wish they would step it up and make these actual 1/9-1/10th scale. Then at least we could use the bodies for real trucks.
I can't wait. I need damped shocks for sure and companies need bigger shocks so it holds oil
Love it
hi sir, hazard light is working too?
Would the Hilux be safe to use on pavement or just dirt & off road? I'm seriously considering purchasing one but don't have much actual dirt or anything like that around where I live & would be mostly using it.

OooooooooYaaaaaah
stand a log under tailgate for parties
hello, why are these models so expensive? thank you!
Hardbody with multiple pieces, and official [Toyota] licensing all cost more money than a generic vacuum-formed body.
I think there's little competition so they're pricing it for what they can get. Their EazyRC models are very very similar but much cheaper.
Did you synchronize video releases with the company or what? Seconds apart from each other.
Yeah, they embargo'ed it fo this time. Companies tend to set a time when content can be released when they send out a product weeks in advance.
Does the quality of the materials come close to a Kyosho ?
I would say, yes.
That esc is a whiney bugger! This is where the eachine shines
Yeah all the FMS are right now. Needs to be addressed for sure.

Part of their officially licensed product agreements must be horrible colors.
That's the glacier, not the triton

Does it have the crappy 180 motor? FMS needs to get into the 380 size. 180 is such a let down. All this work and put in a crappy motor 🤷♂️.
