He would kinda just be what Hashirama was: about as strong as he was when alive. Which is still pretty strong but not some gamechanger.

Great video, but I think pains fight against Itachi and kisame plays out differently with planetary devastation. Also while those 3 are fighting i think this could give konan prep time to devise a plan of attack or counter measures. I could be wrong, but I remember it taking KCM naruto, Killer Bee, and reanimated Itachi just to destroy the chibaku tensei, so i dont know how they’d counter that in this matchup. Itachis half susanoo is a sitting duck and kisames water/shark techniques are all getting pulled into the gravity well.

Bro imagine if Sasori planted his Iron Sand inside of Deidara's C2 Dragon's Homing missiles making sharpnel gernades so that even if you are going to be able to dodge or tank the explosion, you'll have to react again or block agaisnt what is possibly a sure hit attack from an omni directional attack that's personally honed in on you and probably lowered or weakened your durability from the previous explosion depending oh how much power Deidara put in the initial clay bomb. While Konan is indeed not too relevant vs. Itachi and Kisame, she does deserve some more respect in general. Even without her Obito-specific prep (which could trivialize most any Akatsuki member if allowed) she still scales to Obito and thus Minato in combat speed and has narrative implications above most members in portrayal as Pain's right hand. Additionally, since you mention the video games are somewhat consistent, it is important to note how she is implied to trivialize Sasori when recruiting him. Anyway, great content as usual, this is more so a reminder that Konan should be more in the mid tier with Sasori and Kakuzu than the bottom tier with Hidan or Zetsu.

Deidara used the machine on his eye to train his eye to counter sharingan/visual based genjutsu. He did not where it at all vs sasuke, and he did breakthrough one solid sharingan genjutsu using this method. Not an MS or EMS lvl genjustsu but still good. Hes tech above orochimaru in reversing genjusu bc orochimaru got owned by hebi sasukes genjutsu reflection tech and deidara broke through a full 3 tomei sharingan genjutsu with one freaking eye. Thats insane. It was also unheard of to those at 5 kage summit from the stone that sasuke even defeated deidara until they encountered sasuke himself. the itachi and kisame vs pain arguments are very biased. its completly avoiding any strategy for pain 1: you completely ignored the nakara path resurecting dead path wich would than be able to take itachi and kisame off guard we saw in both the jiraya and naruto path than the resurected path got a surprised attack/ ability use 2: Itachi's susano is not a good play for him he could maintain it for 2 minute top chrono before it drained him, the totsuka blade has never been shown to be a good attack in a face to face combat it only hit a gigantic orochimaru who tanked it on purposed and a mindless zombie nagato who didnt move because one again it was a zombie at that point. The strongest dojutsu statement in 3rd db is about itachis mangekyo. The susanoo is further mastery of that so is even stronger than any of pains dojutsu before 402. But with susanoo he just surpasses everything present at that time as per the fanbook.

Seems unlikely it would be still long enough for any openings to be capitalized on. The explosive clone would not work since Gakidō puts up a barrier around itself whilst it is absorbing, as well, so it would just also be absorbed. Whether or not the Shinra Tensei can be absorbed is dubious given it is chakra made to manipulate a force rather than chakra itself. If it could be absorbed I imagine Pain would just put Gakidō in front of it regardless. 27:15 Kakashi was almost paralyzed from the intake of Pain's chakra, so I think that would backfire. Gakidō could absorb the sphere, Shuradō could likely blow it up entirely, and some of the summons could likely swim out of it. 28:05 The strongest attacks from Shuradō were not used in Amegakure. Even if the Summons weapon Pain, the Paths in the back can still support them, whilst Itachi has to run through his stamina to get through them. Amaterasu might not even put down the canine since it would just be absorbed.

Konan would be devastatingly good support in that scenario. In any other scenario (equal grounds/itachi or kisame finds out the secret of the paths) then it’d come down to if itachi and kisame can blow up a chibaku tensei on their own, which there is zero evidence to support this kind of feat as it took KCM Naruto, EDO Itachi (more/limitless chakra reserves to fuel the yasaka beads), and Bee to blow up a Chibaku Tensei. I mean there could be certain circumstances that give itachi/kisame the W but it’s like 70/30 going to Pain.

You did say that the duos will fight in character in the beginning, and yet Itachi and Kisame fought Pain and Konan while Obito was among the enemies? Three of those would definitely go after Obito as soon as possible. How would he do against all four is also an interesting discussion to have. Also the Konan disrespect is immense. There are straight up no antifeats for her, she has a jutsu that allows her to negate most forms of damage and she can traverse any battlefield easily. She would be an incredible support, capable of protecting or transporting the individual paths of pain while also pressuring the attackers. While Konan is indeed not too relevant vs. Itachi and Kisame, she does deserve some more respect in general. Even without her Obito-specific prep (which could trivialize most any Akatsuki member if allowed) she still scales to Obito and thus Minato in combat speed and has narrative implications above most members in portrayal as Pain's right hand. Additionally, since you mention the video games are somewhat consistent, it is important to note how she is implied to trivialize Sasori when recruiting him. Anyway, great content as usual, this is more so a reminder that Konan should be more in the mid tier with Sasori and Kakuzu than the bottom tier with Hidan or Zetsu.

Deidara used the machine on his eye to train his eye to counter sharingan/visual based genjutsu. He did not where it at all vs sasuke, and he did breakthrough one solid sharingan genjutsu using this method. Not an MS or EMS lvl genjustsu but still good. Hes tech above orochimaru in reversing genjusu bc orochimaru got owned by hebi sasukes genjutsu reflection tech and deidara broke through a full 3 tomei sharingan genjutsu with one freaking eye. Thats insane. It was also unheard of to those at 5 kage summit from the stone that sasuke even defeated deidara until they encountered sasuke himself. 1: you completely ignored the nakara path resurecting dead path wich would than be able to take itachi and kisame off guard we saw in both the jiraya and naruto path than the resurected path got a surprised attack/ ability use
2: Itachi's susano is not a good play for him he could maintain it for 2 minute top chrono before it drained him, the totsuka blade has never been shown to be a good attack in a face to face combat it only hit a gigantic orochimaru who tanked it on purposed and a mindless zombie nagato who didnt move because one again it was a zombie at that point. 24:25 Gakidō was able to absorb three combined senjutsu attacks almost instantly. Seems unlikely it would be still long enough for any openings to be capitalized on. The explosive clone would not work since Gakidō puts up a barrier around itself whilst it is absorbing, as well, so it would just also be absorbed.
Whether or not the Shinra Tensei can be absorbed is dubious given it is chakra made to manipulate a force rather than chakra itself. If it could be absorbed I imagine Pain would just put Gakidō in front of it regardless.
27:15 Kakashi was almost paralyzed from the intake of Pain's chakra, so I think that would backfire. Gakidō could absorb the sphere, Shuradō could likely blow it up entirely, and some of the summons could likely swim out of it.
28:05 The strongest attacks from Shuradō were not used in Amegakure.
Even if the Summons weapon Pain, the Paths in the back can still support them, whilst Itachi has to run through his stamina to get through them. Amaterasu might not even put down the canine since it would just be absorbed.

Konan would be devastatingly good support in that scenario. In any other scenario (equal grounds/itachi or kisame finds out the secret of the paths) then it’d come down to if itachi and kisame can blow up a chibaku tensei on their own, which there is zero evidence to support this kind of feat as it took KCM Naruto, EDO Itachi (more/limitless chakra reserves to fuel the yasaka beads), and Bee to blow up a Chibaku Tensei. I mean there could be certain circumstances that give itachi/kisame the W but it’s like 70/30 going to Pain.

Also the Konan disrespect is immense. There are straight up no antifeats for her, she has a jutsu that allows her to negate most forms of damage and she can traverse any battlefield easily. She would be an incredible support, capable of protecting or transporting the individual paths of pain while also pressuring the attackers.

Itachi doesn’t have the stamina or chakra to keep up with the various abilities of Nagatos Kekkei Genkai.
Although I don’t see him dying either, I could see Itachi managing to “run away”
Kisame is not doing anything to Pain.
ANY Paths of Pain they kill will only further strengthen the remaining bodies because Nagato will just focus all his chakra on 1 person.
People tend to forget Nagato had IMMEASURABLY MORE chakra then ANY Hokage alive.
He destroyed an entire Village in seconds , and low diffed 95% of the Village single handedly.
Mind you he went up against Sage Naruto 1v1 AND nearly captured 8tailed Naruto,
After all of this he still had ENOUGH Chakra to not only fight Naruto, but also REVIVE THOUSANDS of dead Konoha Shinobi.
Ashura path alone was strong enough to SPEED BLITZ Jiraiya while he was STILL in Sage Mode, and let’s not forget he was skilled enough to sneak up on NOT ONLY Jiraiya, but also Ma and Pa UNNOTICED.
He got close enough to rip Jiraiyas arm off.
The Deidara + Sasori combo is actually HARD power scale because they were introduced so early and would’ve killed ANYBODY else.
Sasori got hard countered by plot, and Deidara for countered by PLOT TWICE, Sasuke reverse summon? Stupid.
Tbh Sasori is VERY POWERFUL.
This is what happens when you use emotion instead of logic. Itachi and Kisame one shot most of the pains they have trash dura and cant even withstand a kid konohamaru rasengan and die from 1 sage mode naruto strike. Totsuka blade one shots the deva path just like it one shot Edo Nagato
Pain should still beat itachi and Kisame. He soul steels Kisame and jumps itachi. Itachi is gonna be distracted by summons which requires amaterasu. He’s not Edo so that kills itachi stamina. And preta can just ride the dog summon and absorb it. Pain has so many options. The comelian is undetectable. Shared vision means no path is getting touched. Konan paper bombs the rest of them. Also genjutsu shouldn’t bother pain as they are dead corpse. So tsukiyomi won’t “kill” anything. The only genjutsu working on pain was auditory. And it was literally the strongest one. And oh wait itachi fell for a genjutsu like that as well.
Also potentially the animal path can resummon them out of totsuka dimension. I’m not 100% sure in that one to be honest but who knows. It’s not like it’s ever stated itachi totsuka is an inescapable sealed dimension. If that’s the case itachi and Kisame have much harder time. Bansho tenin lifted a huge ass boulder out the ground. So it lifts susanoo up too. And has preta absorb it or just keep it immobile. So many options y’all are forgetting just to get itachi -“and Kisame up there

u forgot orochimaru and sasori but orochimaru carries hard and they only lose to kisame and itachi but they beat kisame stop at itachi
Sasori is partnered with Deidara and it wouldn’t make sense for me to plop Orochimaru in there instead seeing as we don’t have any material giving detailed showings on their combos
