I don't have the hemi but my Rallye does its thing. Solid video that gave me the confidence to debadge my Charger without f**kn it up. About an hour for everything including the dealership stickers.. But I was also listening to a podcast and chillin. Great how-to!
Debadging in Texas requires no heat. I did my Challenger in five minutes with a touch of WD40. A little spray wax and BYE BYE.

I'm not a big fan of removing badges but I give you mad respect for leaving your "R/T" badge on. I see a lot of "ScatPack" Charger owners remove the "R/T" badge altogether or replace it with an "SRT" badge which is upbadging regardless of it having the same power train as the "SRT392." If it didn't come from the factory with "SRT" badges ITS NOT AN SRT!!!
Oh yeh thats a HUGE debate amongst Scat Pack / SRT owners and probably Daytona owners now too lol.
Hemi Fam Lol I forgot about the newly reintroduced Charger Daytona and Challenger T/A models which also have the option of coming with the 6.4 Hemi. I think Dodge is going overboard with all the "392" optioned models. IMO Dodge should have brought back the 6.1 Hemi for the ScatPacks, Daytonas, and T/A's.

it rt because of the touch configurations, thats easily bypassable with a zap which unlocks srt functions, then whats left is removing that stupid rt in place of what shouldve been in the first place, srt

I took the D-O-D-G-E off the back of my T/A and at first, I wasn't too sure. But after about a month now, I'm glad I did. Makes the back look so clean. I however did leave the little "Challenger T/A" badge on the spoiler. I like it there and it woulda been a bitch taking it off because I have XPEL Stealth on that spoiler. Hey people, You own it, so make it your own.

Thanks Man. When I was looking, I wasn't so sure about the T/A with all the black over the white (or over any color) but seeing all the Challengers around that are "Red" or "Octane Red" and "Destroyer Grey", a lot with Shaker Hoods... Mine is the only T/A I've ever seen and love the SRT hood. If anything, my car was different when I drove it home from the dealer. Also, did that Luxe back-up lights and rear reflector black-out that you suggested. Love your videos. Why haven't I subscribed yet? Done! Thanks for all your help!

3m and turtle wax makes an adhesive remover it’s safe for the paint of the car and it works in no time wd40 damages the clear coat and so does brake cleaner and use tooth floss it’s better leaves no marks

Heat gun and wd40 worked perfectly. I made sure to wash off the area with soap and water right after just in case

Just curious.... what year is your charger and how long into its lifespan did you remove the badges? Mine is 3 years old, hoping to get similar results. Don't know if them being on longer worsens the job.

On the Scat Pack models the Charger comes black from the factory but you can always plasti dip them to give it a blacked out look.
Hemifam ohh ok, thanks for the reply! That’s what i figured, it’s just a hassle to debage and then rebadge lol
you don't have to rebadge. Cover area real good with newspaper and painter's tape put about 6-8 coats of plasti dip on and let it dry for 15 mins each time. The last time just use a little toothpick to get around the letters and it'll lift right off the paint but still be on the letters.

What you need for that adhesive is some Goo Gone... they sell it at almost all the major stores

those swirls and light shade came from the goo gone, never use strong chemicals on plastic, itll destroy the brake light

Those came from the shitty plastic from Dodge I use goo gone and adhesive removers daily and have no issues!

Hemifam well if you read any adhesive remover instructions, it can ruin plastics, paint, clothes and it bad to inhale..just read my comment, i said to not use strong chemicals on plastics
Danielle2285 you can still do it with an adhesive remover, but make sure its safe on most plastics, and be gentle and after usage, clean it off with detailing spray
Just use GOOF-OFF,it’ll come right out!

Marc Jeanis as far as I can tell, the Dodge badging is molded into the taillight piece. So no dice. I painted mine black.

Yes it will work for all badges although the ones on the paint may have left over adhesive that would need to be removed.
So compound or polish would do the trick for the swirls on the tail lights?
Yes start of with a light polish on a pad and it should do the trick! 😀
