Every one of these tutorials, however slow overall, casually zips right past the most complicated part at the end, which is exactly the part we need slowed down and explained.
I still can't get it. I've watched so many videos. Could be my hair isn't long enough for this "flipping" action? But for sure my hair is long enough to pull back. I'm so lost.
It would be really helpful if you included shots of the process with no cuts, like with the whole thing slowed down. I still have very little idea what you're doing after watching this video. Thanks, though
Not gonna lie this was a lot harder to pull off than I thought 😂. Worked at it for a while, and I finally got it down. I will be rocking this look for a while 🎉
I remember trying to do the old sloppy joe high ball but couldn't figure it out, your version worked for me . So basically clock wise for a neat high ball and counter clock wise hair flip for a sloppy Joe.

great vid. alas, i think this is going to go the way of my attempts at crochet...if eye-hand co-ord is needed, i'm out. my messy bun becomes like a failed souffle...but i'll keep watching hoping to find something that works...
My biggest issue is most of these tutorials won’t work for me because my hair is twice as long as most peoples hair in videos so I struggle to find a solid way to tie my hair up without having a heavy ass knot on my head. If I do the flick, my hair is down past my chin. Plx halp!
Had my long hair (on and off) most of my adult life. Current growth time is nearly 11 years. I’m glad I have a supportive job and hairdresser. My wife would love me to cut it though.
you aren't an idiot, its just that youtubers are incredibly bad at explaining the simplest of things. They're too busy trying to pose for the cameras to feed into their massive egos that they disregard putting in any effort in to actually making their 'how to' guides in any way helpful.
Sooooo hot! I could watch this 50 times just to look at him and the final product. Lol. 🤤 But thanks for the video, it truly was super helpful! My son has super long hair, & I’m watching these videos to learn ways to keep his hair out of his face, all while keeping the “boyish” look! Lovin’ all the tips & how there is finally a community for the “long-hair guys!”
ruclips.net/video/zC1E71sVxEA/видео.htmlfeature=shared This one solved it. I was in the same wilderness as you 🤣 Watch how this guy grabs the bun with the same hand

Every single video, it's the worst
1 year later and I'm in 100% agreement.

so extremely frustrating
This video caused SO MUCH frustration!
thank god I'm not the only one losing my mind after 12x

You got this!
Still working on this one, cannot seem to master.
It looks great on you but Ive watched this video 100 times and for some reason I still have no idea how you did that
I have no finesse man, I just don’t get it lol it always comes loose before I can get it into a bun after the flick.
Thanks. Slow motion actually helped to understand the twisting.
These videos make me want to grow long hair too
Do it! You won’t regret it. There will be that awkward stage you reach a few mo the in but, power through that and get DIALED brother

It looks nice but I still have no clue what happened when the hair tie was pulled off the wrist. Camera views made it tricky to see
This was genuinely helpful
this looks like it would make your hair really knotty, what is your opinion on that

My hair is pretty long, one of the best ones for me is the twist bun

He sure is 100
Looking dialed. Looking sick. Love to see it.
FULLY DIALED
Hey I know that guy!!! He helped me keep my hair healthy while growing out my hair.
Losing hair on top so wary of pulling it back into a bun. Have long curly hair. Suggestions??
the flip unties the tie immediately
I’ve watched this 8 times and still can’t figure it out.
My hair is quite long and curly so pretty much anything that isn't a simple ponytail seems impossible.
Confusing af
Thank you my good sir
Damn that looks great! I think I need the remedial course though. haha
Is it the messy high ball or is it the sloppy joe? It's one or the other

Love this video! Somehow I still get worse every time I try this one...
This doesnt make sense. How many loops? Are you looping that flick through?
I have watched this video, and your other one, 50 times… I still have no clue what you are doing with the hair tie..
This is one of the easiest tutorials i found on youtube for this bun but I’m still a idiot and cant figure it out for the life of me

We need a better explanation after the flick...
why is this so hard
im pretty sure these are all some fake edit casue this is video 3 with that flick that just unties your hair everytime
Be good if you explained the hard part
HOW THE FUCK do you get it out again without ripping out a shit ton of hair? taking it off again is always the hardest part. am I the only one?
Gotta use Hair Ties For Guys
@@TheLonghairs💀 hair is hair, why the fuck should it matter what we use that's meant for hair? If it's for hair then that should be it

This makes no sense honestly terrible explanation, the hair tie ends up not even on my hair
No idea what you just did

Can't make head or tail out of the flip part. Frustrating.
