@@sameendusk2623 oh, I know. But it's also irresponsible to say that one party is pure evil in the other party is pure good. I’m getting spam calls saying I qualify for student debt relief but I’ve never once been to school so I don’t have debt so that’s how I know it’s spam.
Due to the assault weapon ban that's been in place for 32 years being possibly repealed in California soon, cant wait to see Cali able to talk gun with Texas. I'm curious to see how a bit like that would go, the shock of other states and things like that, sounds like a fun time.
Know one wants to feel the pain from their stupidity, not everyone wants to be an electrician but a lot of us work jobs we don't like cause it pays us well.
One of my friends is a professor she'll be paying off student loans until she's 45. It's mostly intrest. Her parents helped her too she didn't have as many student loans as someone with no help.
Hmmm, I think canceling a certain amount of student debt would be the best (like up to $50,000) then in the future covering the costs of college for those going for specific high demand degrees. And I mean covering the costs, not making people get loans to be paid off later after working for the government for 10 years. That would a) keep students from loading up on debt that prevents them from purchasing a home for a decade after they graduate college and b) not give the government a chance to use backdoors to deny people their student loan forgiveness like has happened multiple times. If a student who had had their college costs paid ended up dropping out or swapping to an unapproved major, THEN the student could be required to pay back what the government spent. It's honestly a win-win for the government. You unload some debt from the current population who can then purchase homes and other large purchases like cars that stimulate the economy in both short and long-term. You also motivate students to go into high demand fields like nursing, computer science, biology, etc., where our country is currently suffering from a severe lack. If they played their cards right they could manage to ensure America stays at the forefront in terms of technology and development, stabilize wages and employment in high demand fields, and provide long-term economic stability for generations of Americans. They could even work to stabilize the cost of a degree in the first place by negotiating with universities, much like how they do with MediCare, regarding the costs of care. It would take a lot of work, and I'm sure not everyone would be happy (because everyone is NEVER happy) but the overall long-term benefits to the nation would, in my opinion, weigh that out
The real problem with student loans, this coming from someone who has them, is when they took them away from the banks and gave them to predatory collection agencies. I owe more then I took out due to interest rates. They also continue to sell off your loan to other agencies so your loan will get bounced around without your permission. Both my car loan and my college loan where the about the same. I pay less for my car loan and will have it paid off this year. I bought it 6 years after I started paying off my student loans. I was stupidly talked into not taking out a bank loan to pay off this debt by one of said companies under guise one day all will be forgiven if I can't find a good job and pay it off. Still can't find a good job because no one will accept the college I went to, the debt is now to big to take out a loan. Why did I take out student loans, because I was cornered and pressured into taking them while unemployed struggling to find work and I was gullible and stupid.
Born in Ft. Walton Beach but have moved a lot. But when people find out I started in Fla., they always say that's what my problem is. Can never take the Florida out of people.
Just a request a tad more Mississippi mississippi, and Louisiana are actually more similar than with a tad bit of Tennessee thrown in towards the north you do great work keep it up
If they won't cancel student loan debt, shouldn't they at least cancel the interest part, make it where they cant put interest on it and if not, how about limited low interest so once it gets to a certain percent of the original loan they cant charge more?
