love the bag, edc perfection. Only thing missing is Multicam....we love camo too, dont forget that MR. Wouldve loved this in Multicam Black, M81 woodland or any of the other Multicam variants
Y'all are blocking freight forwarders and don't sell to my country so serves you guys right that this isn't moving. Wild that you had to drop a walk through video almost two weeks after this was released since even the FOMO crowd gave this a miss.
Wait 3-6 years and you can get one for $200 from someone with more dollars than sense who never used theirs. I just got a popup 28 for $140 the other week this way.
If only I didn’t already have a Pintler and a two day assault/EDC from REI. (And if only you hadn’t made them so DURABLE, they are NOT giving up anytime soon in my lifetime…). If I didn’t have them, & more specifically, if I didn’t have the 2 day EDC from REI, I would snatch this up in a second. Perfect city, travel, day bag that easily covers all hiking+ applications too.
$400 for a daypack? and its not even made in the USA? Guys, I worked at Marmot Mtn works and sold Dana packs for years = you need to put these at a reasonable price point unless your target market is the 0.01% weekend warrior crowd. You get more bang for the buck from Kifaru or HPG which are actually made in the USA. I just picked up an Umlindi 2 for a $1oo less and it is way more functional. Had you priced this pack closer to 250 you may have earned my business.
Received mine and like it. My only complaint is the x50 pattern on the left pocket is sideways instead of straight down like the rest of the pack. But that’s just the OCD in me.
Have mixed feelings on the purchase. Pros: VX 50 material is great, love the clamshell, brain pocket really good, harness system great. Cons: lack of organization on the interior as it’s touted as an edc pack. Added a couple of third party org panels to get it there. Side pockets down low are unusable. Have no idea what to use these for. Laser cut molle on inside is also a head scratcher. If you add a pouch you block access/usability to the thin main compartment. Price is is high, just feels like the designers were getting cute on the total package that’s less than cohesive.
Except that it isn’t out of stock. They have stretched the limit of how many folks out there are willing to pay ~$400 for a ~$200 pack for multiple packs. I was disappointed to find out the bag a paid a premium for was not made in the US for that price.
£400 in the UK for this? I paid £120 for my Catalyst 22, you're telling me this is £260 better? Not a chance. I like this pack, and I love Mystery Ranch gear, but you really are taking the piss out of your customers with this.
"I'm here to show you... an absolute copy cat of the Eberlestock Switchblade." No, seriously. I've been a huge fan of mystery ranch backpacks. But I've used the Switchblade for years, and the only thing you've changed in the design is the layout of the pockets. And even these are minimal changes. I'd love to make a list of things you just copied, but this post would get too long. Not impressed this time, but keep up the good work! Ingenuity is in your company's DNA!
The Mystery Ranch Scapegoat, which is the original bag the Dragon is based upon, is a 2015 Design. So the Switchblade is technically a copy cat of Mystery Ranch's design.

Yeti bought MR and yeti does not license camo. Expect me to dump all value in favor of urban yuppies going forward. 😂

Same problem with mine. They didn't even cancelled my order to refund my money immediately
Just got this in. It’s awesome. Having trouble deciding when I use it versus the Unicorn 2.0, or do I just keep both
I would love one... In the EU.
I would love to pick one up, but that price ... 😬
$400 for those wondering
@@zurielcastillo5071 Just ridiculous.

Why haven't you put ur rip ruck line uodate here?
The $399 price was acceptable, but the $45 fixed shipping cost to an APO address is not cool.
hope I can get one of these bags
nice look
Bring back the gunfighter 14 in Multicam Black. I knew i should have bought it🤦🏻

I want them to be sold on a regular basis, not as a limited edition.
That's not a dragon, thats a tauntaun.
I like the White, wah much money?

I’d rather the unicorn
400$ are you drunk?
Not unusual for VX50. Could have done a Cordura version though.
