I would like to say that since yesterday I learned your lesson well and have been taking off my huey in just 4 days thanks to you, your video is the best I found on YT, no blah blah, only the result! Now it's the exercises for hovering and arriving to land very precisely and without breakage, plus the cargo etc Congratulations to your video again
great video and think about those arriving ... I bought the Huey for 2 years already but I have not used it yet, thanks to your video I will be able to get started, it is a very captivating module it looks like isn't it? well deserved subscriber and a thumbs up!
I got a chill up my back when I saw all that PSP. It reminds me of all the ways I got out of laying single piece of it. Sand bags? Well that's a different story. My 50 cal bunker took 1003 and a half to make it snug.
Last time I checked, you don't introduce fuel (turn the throttle beyond cuttoff) until the starter pushes enough air through the turbine... otherwise you will get a hot start.
Default keyboard command is F1 - Cockpit view. Then use the numpad to look around. I used a TrackIR for looking around instead of numpad in this video.
Shouldn't a 205 have a start fuel switch to switch off before temp gets to 300°C? And also, I'm 90% certain you never start with the throttle open, that's a very dangerous way to start a turbine engine
+Max Hammerum start with the throttle at 0 and then slowly increase it as the rpms approach 40%, then slowly roll it to full as the engine becomes self sustaining
Nice. but, can you maybe slow down the tommy toggle about 4x and have the text on the screen 2 seconds longer so those that actually might try to figure this out could use this vid? cheers
Thanks for you input. If I do another one I will try and slow it down some. Remember you can pause the video as well if the text is not up long enough.
It's called DCS World. The Huey is a payware plane for it. Here at link or they have to Steam as well www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/products/world/
So, its been over a year, and I still cannot get the Huey off the ground. I don't use Keyboard, I have the HOTAS Warthog flight gear. I can fly LOTS of other flight game/sims (including the much more recent Aerofly FS2). This DCS World has always been SH1T and seems it always will be. Maybe that's why Thrustmaster did not bother to have a download for this trash (because its IMPOSSIBLE to map correctly?).

Very good flight!

How do you make the camera go outside to look at the whole huey?

Thanks for that, if you don't mind me asking what graphics card are you using? and what fps are you getting? cheers.
Interesting, thanks. The hovering looks very difficult
Is suposed to come fire out of my exhustion? It happens everytime! I can fly fine but its weird!

There should be a mo-fooking HINTS button.
Windows Key + Home saves all that sh1t. But how in fcuk do you get the heli to go UPWARDS.

the Bell UH-1 Huel Iroquois helicopter need 4 blades on the top...
not 2 blades
The UH-1Y has 4 blades and two engines, the one in the game is a UH-1H which has 2 blades and one engine.
