Definitely request insured delivery. The tequila should help with the stress though lol. Could sue them too; the USPS is actually a private company that provides public services. Glad you got it in one piece.
Yea i spend nearly 1k on a couple of things from CFX. USPS said oh it will show up dont worry. Then I was told that 2 day doesnt really mean it will be there in 2 days. Then it showed up in their system as stuck in Seattle. I live in GA, the mask came from LA, the state. It had to be intentional or some idiot in the processing center putting it somewhere. I did get it though, 2 weeks later and it looked like it had been opened and retaped. Im only going with UPS from now on.
Glad you got it at least. It does make for some tense moments when you're thinking an item is lost and there's literally no one who is seemingly willing to help.
USPS??? You mean USBS 😂😂 dang I HATE when it happens with them, wanted 1 month and a week for a package before, stayed in one state for 3 weeks and a few days. Glad you got it and you did a wonderful job with the Micheal Myers 1:1 lifesize.
I'm a "fan" of USPS insofar as I recognize the importance of having a publicly-available, regulated mail delivery system, and I think in general they have a relatively thankless job. If you get your mail each day, you're probably not thinking about how it got to you, it just does. I like that. I'm also curious if weather challenges led to yours getting bounced around (not that it would excuse the tracking failure). But man, their package-delivery process suuuuuuuucks. I've never had something shipped USPS that was very expensive, but they never seem to hit their ETAs and the tracking may as well not exist. I blame the postmaster general as it feels like he's being running the service into the ground since he took his position and he has quite a punchable face.
Adam Sandler, Bonnie Aarons, Michelle Williams (the Heath Ledger/Halloween H20 one) and I have the most common birthday in America, and it was a month and four days ago.
Yes, healthy venting where no one gets hurt. Another commenter called it "crying" of course, because that's our culture these days. But, telling the story was actually therapeutic, especially since it ended happily. 🎃
Yeah, UPS sucks. My uncle mailed me one of my hard drives with all of my music on it, stuff I had recorded over 3-4 years) one time and they lost the package with ZERO explanation and I had to jump through hoops to get reimbursed. They only gave me like $100 in the end. Fuck UPS.
Yeah I had something similar happen with my og 1981 harry warden mask I spent around $500 something dollars on and it was during the month of Christmas
“Choose FedEx, UPS, DHL, anyone but USPS” hate to break it to you LK but all other delivery services use USPS in some capacity or another. So even if you go through a different company it will inevitably be in the hands of USPS at some point.
I was gonna say the same thing. I’m a mailman and the amount of handoff packages I deliver from FedEx, UPS, DHL (not to mention the endless waves of Amazon) is crazy. Not saying we do all their work cause we don’t, but you’d be surprised how much actually has to come through us to get to the final destination
Considering from NC all the way down to FL has been hammered by hurricanes I would just shut my trap and be thankful I received it. The places you mentioned have been flooded and completely destroyed in a lot of places. Be thankful you even have a home to sit in and cry like a child about your mask that arrived late.
In the other video I actually mention the mask opening was recorded in late June..... way before Helene ravaged the area. So, it's difficult to simply "be thankful" after having paid for an overnight service that these guys completely ignored and not only dropped the ball on, but had even e-mailed me claiming the package was "lost" when it was in fact still in transit on a ground vehicle, completely undetected by their total ineptitude. Hoping for basic compliancy from the job they're supposed to at least be efficient at, at the barebones level, is seemingly asking too much these days. Not just with USPS, but with customer service in general on a broad scale.

My goodness....the trauma still lingers.....had to take a drink just to tell the story.... scarred for life hahahaha 😁
At the time, yes. 😄 The thought of a NAG/JC mask being lost in the void was a stressful thing to process. But, luckily 🥃😁

The Night He Come - following an absolute sh*tshow from USPS 😂
😆

Haha, I’m a Virgo too, September baby! We’re a strange breed! My wife can understand.😂 glad it made it safely.

We are indeed! 😆
I don’t blame you at all. I would be reacting the same way if I spent over 800$ on a package as well

@@lordkayoss dude I definitely understand what you were saying.
Your next Jason Cosplay should be PT6.

Whoa! Damn. I can only imagine how tough that was to process.

It depends on how it gets shipped, but yes, I've seen that as well (from Amazon especially).
Audio is no bueno
Sounds fine to me. Maybe your ears are no bueno.
@@unclelloydagreed… sounds good to me as well.
