Until watching this video i thought that Nick Mulpagano made the best original 78 myers masks but this mask looks like a carbon copy of the original mask from 1978. Dude, every detail down to the boots is just mind blowing the extent you went too, to get this correct. AMAZING!!
@@johndalszysII Agreed! There's room in the hobby for every creator, and many do great work. But, Nikos and James are the universally recognized undisputed tag-team champions.
I recognised this voice and realized its LK, witch is crazy because ive been subbed for 15+ years watching the nes reviews and jason vids when I was a kid. Good to see ya still at it brother
Dude... I am fucking speechless! This is one of those dreams that finally comes true, and you kinda get a sentimental feeling about it. When you panned the camera from the doorway and showcased the display, I was in awe of just how realistic it looked. Great job on the project, Kayoss! I am sure it cost a pretty penny.
Thanks, Buddy! This was exactly that! Something I had been wanting to do for a long time. Very fun project to do, and I love the result. Every time I walk in the room where he is I'm like "Hey Micky" (Mouth-style from The Goonies). 😄
@@lordkayoss No problem! Yes, I heard you say that this is something you've wanted to do for years. Also, that last part about 'Hey Micky' in 'The Goonies' style is hilarious! Hahaha! Have a blessed Thanksgiving weekend, my brother! (If you celebrate it, that is.)
Really good video! I have built some life sized figures over the years, here’s some tips: you can used packing materials to “bulk” the mannequin up a bit so it looks more like a normal human, and Nick Mulpagano used to sell a neck insert that would look great between the mask and the shirt!
Excellent build this is great and for those who want to know the original cover all color from the first film and only the first film was called "Tex Green" offered only by Roebucks the color was phased out in the late 70s early 80s one scene in the film you can see them perfect for a second or two when he bumps into Tommy Doyle outside school after getting bullied check it out as far as finding a pair .....good luck
I think I need you to be a voice actor/actor in Western media. You've got that desperado/bandito drawl down to a science and it's very soothing to listen to.
Your attention to detail is killer! That's a hell of a project man! It turned out perfect and very spooky! Great video presentation! Thanks I loved it,
Fun fact: during production of the 1978 Halloween film, once it was decided that the Shape would wear a mask, someone from the costume department went down to a local Halloween costume store that happened to be selling Stark Trek TOS masks. They purchased a Captain James T. Kirk mask and brought it back to the workshop where it was transformed into the iconic face of Michael Myers. You don't have to look closely at the mask to see that it is clearly actor William Shatner's face. The hair is also based on Shatner's hair which would be more obvious if it had the sideburns.
Huh, interesting theory. I think it's just a rumor, though. Just like the rumor they had bags of leaves to place all over the set to simulate fall and in between takes they would gather them all.😏
This is Absolutely Awesome!!! It looks sooooo Dang Good, I am Blown Away Dude!!! 👏👏👏🎃🔪. This reminds me of the time I tried to make a wearable version of Nubbins from Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 back in 99! Nothing screen accurate just with common halloween items at home.
I might be a little late to this video, it being Halloween after all…but I’m a Vietnam war reenactor and yes, you DO have the correct jungle boots. Yours are a nice new old stock pair off omahas surplus but they tend to be a pricey company. Anyway, you have 3rd pattern vibram sole jungle boots with that little patch of ankle support nylon on the side and based on what I saw when I paused your video they are dated 6/66 or June of 1966 which is a pretty common date for that type. Hope this helps, and this was a killer video!
with nick casel's eyes looking at you when you walk in. you will always wonder did someone put on the costume and hide the manican or is it still the manneguin😶🫣
Looks absolutely brilliant would love to do this myself but unlike u I don't have an understanding wife , in fact she's terrified of my Myers mask collection!! love the channel keep the content coming .
You’ve completely inspired me and I’m currently collecting the pieces for my own life size. Have to ask, did you end up going with the medium or the large for the black tee?
That's a classic gem from the 90s that I was recently reminded of. I saw someone playing with one in a random short and immediately picked one up on eBay. 😄
Awesome display! a little too skinny though. That mask is spot on! but i think i like what Nick Mulpagano makes a little bit more, but both are amazing mask makers.
Love it. Looks really, REALLY screen accurate, only thing you can really complain about is the arm size of the mannequin, kinda skinny, but otherwise it’s perfect. Also do you know how to get in contact with James Carter? Just a question.

Best 78 replica mask i have seen soo far
A NAG 75K Castle finished by James Carter definitely has that "it" factor! My personal favorite of every H1 replica I've ever seen.

Gotta love the Classic Michael Myers Style. He is such an iconic Villain
We all know Michael is the hero in the movie.
That mask is class
That mask brought back 1978 to me, unreal!
Doesn't get more 1978 than that! Awesome setup 🎃🔪

Nick does great work. But many in the hobby agree the holy grail is any NAG with a JC paint job.

Nice. The only thing that throws me off is how wide the neck hole is
Personally, i think the body and the neck are to thin which makes the mask look a bit large. Overall its still a 10.
