  • I found this Metal Detector on Amazon for $26.
    I would only recommend something like this if you are a complete Metal Detecting beginner and can find one for a very good price.
    I wouldn't pay over $50.

    It's pretty easy to make a simple detector that works decent for cheap. There was a detector out about 20 years ago that had all the electronics in the headphone. Was marketed for water hunting or relic. The older detectors the volume gets lower the deeper it is. That why people used headphone originally was to hear those whisper signals that were deepest.

    Only metal detector you will ever need for modern park hunting at the best price yet. If all I would ever hunt was parks and yards that's the best light weight deal yet. But I like to hunt saltwater and occassionally go hunting gold fields for gold nuggets and the Legend is the best deal for that so far. That cheap detector will find all the recent dropped coins in a park the high dollar ones could find and the gold rings as well.

    • @TreasureOutdoors
      @TreasureOutdoors  9 месяцев назад +2

      I think in a modern park with mild soil surprisingly this thing is doing well.

    That detector is based on Gary Storm's Head Hunter pro Detector, an excellent detector although it was expensive, and not very deep, but it could detect gold chains in salt water where others could not. The electronics are from Fisher and are still used today. I think the problem with that detector is the coil, which is easily replaceable.

    bro, you need to do the study if you wsnt to learn more. they work how they work and cheap does the same thi g as expensive. yes really. it detects an interruption on the magnetic field. all of them work like this.
    the depth is a function of coil turns and power used. cheap can do that just as effectively as expensive.
    the metal types cant only discriminate on ferrous and non ferrous, (magnetic or not).
    its a dirty little secret that a few dollars of diodes and transistors to process the information, not to detect, only to process, is the difference between 6 thousand dollars amd 6.
