Thank you. Since watching and studying the pattern further I have found the manufacturer, but alas not the exact colour. But I will keep searching for a suitable alternative Thanks again David
Andy is in Yorkshire, people in the south of England would say he's oop north. The north of England. Im in the south west of England. Not much trout fishing down here, but lots of salt water fly fishing available 👍🤗
Hi Tim Firstly I must say that I always find your channel exciting and up to date. I found your videos on fly tying vices thoroughly interesting and informative, and bought the Stonfo Elite vice on your recommendations. I don’t regret it all. I have a question regarding materials. Jay Zimmerman ties a Carp Dragon fly. He uses something called “Green tea Boho yarn dubbin”. I can’t find this in the UK. Any ideas where I may source it from or what alternative I could use. I fly fish for carp in the UK. It’s not a particularly well known or practiced form of catching carp here in UK but I absolutely love it, so exciting Your help would be appreciated Many thanks Regards David
It’s virtually impossible to gift me a Semperfli tyers mix of materials…. Kapok from Semperfli is a great material, all the nano silks are fantastic too I also like the quills including the peccary sub.
What about the materials Tom Rosenbauer of Orvis uses?? Watch his list here: ruclips.net/video/Pr-kqlC2ixo/видео.html

I love some good fly fishing, especially in the salt! Thanks for the comment, and did you agree with Andy's list? Tim www.troutandfeather.com
Long live feathers and all natural materials. Definitely a place for synthetics but yer can't beat something that could fly😊
Mega Thx for the video. It was very informative and I definitely will look into tying with some nano & micro glint
Thanks so much for the kind words, and those are both killer materials from Semperfli! Tim www.troutandfeather.com

Love to see emu feathers in dyed colors
Thanks for the suggestion, Ryan, I'll pass it on to Andy! Tim www.troutandfeather.com
Make sure dyed materials are color fast if your going to tie flies with them.

That's a great feeling, Rob, there are so many good ones. I'm with you, Kapok is my #1, then there's Nano Silk! :-) Tim www.troutandfeather.com

I would do it in dry shed out of the wind and rain. Take a brew with you as well😂😂
I didn't know they were an English company.
