Hello Dr. Murphy, I would argue against your choice of No. 10 because you have biased altering to mean increasing the bioavailability yet you could alter it to lower bioavailability in which case it would be safer. While C can be argued against too, we would all agree from your very lecture that Penicillins have a large therapeutic index that makes them safer although like you said, that isn’t correct for all people. What would you say about this?

As you said it binds to the allosteric site of the receptor and it changes the shape of the receptor. then agonist (both endogenous and exogenous) could not event bind. hence there should be no response/effect. 1:08:00 But you drawn a cure and saying it achieves ED50. 30:10 the flat initial part of the dose-response curve is really just an artefact of the X-axis being on a log scale. If you were to draw it on a linear scale it would actually be the steepest point of the dose-response curve
