I am so excited to get my hands on one of these in February. I stopped using my PSVR1 when I bought a new TV early last year, because I didn’t want to keep swapping cables to get the HDR and VRR working for normal games
I stopped using it because of the low resolution and cumbersome set up. Plus, having to juggle between those awful Move controllers and Dualshock 4. Had an incredible time with Ocean Descent(from PSVR Worlds), Resident Evil 7, AstroBot Rescue mission, just to name a few. But it's time to throw in the PSVR 1 towel and toss that in the garbage. ;) I preordered the Horizon Bundle. 22 more days!
You just listed every game I'm looking forward to playing. Can't wait for feb22. A little worried tho as I put my pre order in on Monday and then all I've heard from Tuesday on is that it's Gona be a failure and a flop.
I've never had a problem with the grip trigger on Quest personally. I just hope that the Sense controllers use touch capacitors too so it's not just on or off but I don't know how that would work as my fingers are always going to be resting on it anyway...
Well this will be my first vr and I meant like real games lol. I seen it has alot of smaller games but for it to really be viable it should get titles that are like GoW, spiderman, Hogwarts, etc. IMO
@Will Villa yeah but there probably won't be games like that for awhile of course there is horizon but other than that not really ant but all the games on launch will probably be great i have tried some of them on quest 2
I actually dont know. Will check it out and create a video about it if I find anything interesting. I think they need to create the functions to work for all kind of people.
At this point software is the name of the game. I'm a huge gamer but I like depth; I like things like Elden ring, pillars of eternity, Mount & Blade, total war, DayZ - gamers games where you can play for 50 hours and still only see a fraction of content. This is what we need next. System sellers. I'm thinking we won't really see much like that until 2024.

Can't wait for RE8, I just got a copy today, It will sit unopened until the PSVR2 arrives whenever it does.... RE7 on the first one was absolutely amazing and one of my favourite gaming experiences ever, although I was genuinely terrified to go back down in that basement later on and I dread to think how much more realistic it will be on this with OLED blacks and HDR, I know the game isn't rated as highly as 7 but it should still be a great time
You arent looking hard enough. Ive read somewhere, (can't remember) that ypu can feel when you hit the bone when cutting through a zombie with a chainsaw in saints n sinners. From what ive heard so far, just about every game announced takes advantage of the haptics and adaptive triggers. Its apparently quitr easy to program.
