2021 Sym Symphony ST 200 - First Road Trip

- After 3000 km through the city I take my 2021 Sym Symphony ST 200 on he's first road trip, 295 km in a single day with some off road and some high speed roads to get home grown fruit and vegetables from my parents. On the return trip I had about 50kg of payload on him with absolutely every single storage option filled to the max. It handled the trip like a champ, really impressed with the performance overall on this trip.

Thanks for this video. Especially for the part with a dirt road. Here, in Ukraine, I love weekend trips on the same roads among the fields. Now I know that a scooter is quite suitable for such use.

Afara, legate de gard și acoperite cu prelata, n-am avut niciodată nici o problema.
In sand, sit a bit further back if you can too let off weight of the front. And a smooth even throttle.
PS. When you got off the bike it looked more like dust than sand. And that Harley sound, LOVE it. What if Donny had that sound, lol.
I think it's called sugar sand or powder sand. Anyway it's terrible to ride through.

The question is how many kilometers does Donnie have on it currently? Did it have any issues until now other than the normal maintenances?
It just passed 42.000km and no issues up to this point 😁
I’m out of sequence, but did you change out the shocks, (realizing Donnie was in its youth on this ride)? We’re right on your shoulder in the “powder” (dirt). Can well believe you’d lose the bike in a hurry, makes for a touchy ride to keep you on your toes! Neat country. Best, Rola (Oregon / USA).
No, he's still on his original suspension and yes this was the first time I took him out of the city.
could u find a small plastic billy can and shoved it under the seat storage where helment go,for longer range?

Please, tell how to brake urgently on it, so as not to force your hands on the Handle Bar and not move forward in the seat? should I put my feet against the front vertical wall?
I keep my feet planted firmly on the floor and don't have any problems.

Se va comporta la fel doar ca viteza de deplasare va fi mai mica :)), vezi la mine pe canal ce poți face cu un 50cc 😂😂😂. Spirit de aventura sa ai și curaj sa te pui la drum, altceva nu contează, scuterele duc și duc bine distante lungi.

Hi Alex. Can you please tell me what's the maximum speed of Donnie? Is he manage to give you 100 km/h or 110 km/h?
110 is maximum, but 90-100 is comfortable cruising speed
80-90 is cruising speed.But 100 is near top speed.So you are killing the engine.I mean more than 6500 rpm,at 100 is really not very good I think.Until 7500 rpm accepted? Alex whats your rpms at 100 km? And why my Jet X 200 is dead until 4000 rpm,then it moves.

if U weigh 94kg in weight & U buy 125cc scooter to travel 54km to work will it reach 100km speed in a straight level road it's the first time buying a scooter or bike
lol thats literally me... weight the same bought sym jet 14 and it reaches 100 kmh as max on straight level road
Hey Alex. Is the Sym brand Chinese? I heard Chinese motorbikes are not reliable like for example Motowell.
Sym is a Taiwanese company, and in terms of reliability I've put myne through hell and back with many long distance trips and it handled them just fine.
How many km it go in a full tank of petrol?
About 200km
What is the other motorcycle you have?
At the moment this scooter is the only one I have, I used to have a 1991 Honda transalp but I sold it in the winter.
@@RideWithAlex what do you think about honda sh mode 125? If you know something. Sh 150i it is very expensive.

In Greece the fuels that you you put in the scooter (5lt) costs 8.6 euro!So much more expensive!!!29.5 lei is 5.9 Euro! Right?

@@RideWithAlex i want to by the 200 air cooler is ok or is better to by the 125 lc ? I mean i live in greece and greece the summers is very hot country and if i want to go to the beach about 20 30 minutes with my girl is problem the aircooler ?
@@chrisbellas3570 I tested the 200 in 40+ degrees Celsius for 10 hours doing deliveries and pushing it as hard as I could, I had no problem with it. Next week I will have a video on the channel comparing the acceleration of the 125L/C to the 200 A/C, spoiler the 200 is quite a bit faster 😄

Another weird thing i see in my new 2023 Symphony, is: When my wife sits as passenger,her shoes find my calves from behind!!! Something is not accurate here...
