Your roads are nice like mine . I used asfault black and it takes away the shine but if you like it shiny, ITS YOUR RAILROAD lol I was told .. really nice n neat and clean , again great job 👍
Great job 👍... You can still cut those building's in half with a Dremel and put them against the wall and add 1-2 tracks ? I've been doing that and putting them against the wall and finding I have a lot more room...., Joe
Thank you for that Joe, something to consider when I get bored of running trains and need to change some stuff around. Thanks for checking the video out!
ben, excellent stuff !!! i have the same plant and it WAS initially a paper plant, then, OOPS, i realized i had 24 exactrail armn reefers i purchased from springcreek model trains several years back and stored away, which i forgot about. i pulled them out and decided to convert the paper mill to a food (barilla plant in central ny state) plant and things are working out well !!! it is a very nice plant by walthers c.stone.... i will be "copying" some of your ideas onto my facility ( large white/tall tanks, process lines, etc) and finish some light track upgrades. please keep up the nice videos, ben. blessings to you, my friend.
Thank you for the kind words! I remember when this kit was released with the Walthers trees and trains series many years ago and wanted it then but didn’t have the space. Fast forward to when I was building my current layout and I got the same kit off EBay at a great price. It’s a big kit and takes up some real estate, but it has a lot of options just like with what you did on yours. My Norfolk Southern section of the layout is inspired by upstate NY, southern Vermont. Have a great day!
A very nice video and layout. I'll have a similar paper mill industry on my own HO scale layout, though it will be smaller scale as I'm attempting to model a small mountain railroad town in the 1940s-50s.
Thank you very much! I agree with that for sure, I am waiting for my maples in the yard to green up and then will be pulling some small branches from them to add to the pile. Thank you for checking out the video.
I built this one in N scale....i was gonna leave the roof alone but then i did a white gravel look and i think it came out good! Love the ballast and track work too!
Nice work Ben…the added details really define the industry…like the lighting effects
Thanks so much, have a great day!

Thanks for the kind words. Good luck with your build!
@@BensTrainsChannel You're quite welcome, and thank you for your kind words :).
very, very, nice....as a retired printer and a visitor to paper plants, I would make the wood piles 4 times bigger....:):):):)
Thank you very much! I agree with that for sure, I am waiting for my maples in the yard to green up and then will be pulling some small branches from them to add to the pile. Thank you for checking out the video.
Great video and work on the plant. Like the progress. mini-nit: the RR crossing is 4 tracks not 2 tracks as shown.
Thanks for watching! Good eye, I had meant to say that in the video, I need to decal the crossing to 4 tracks instead of 2.
second
Thank you.

Thanks! I have another scene that I am going to gravel roofs on, looking forward to that one.
@@BensTrainsChannel in my opinion, it makes a big difference!!
