your garage looks like part of my living room. i really need to do better. who was it that said reselling was easy? 😂😂oh it was'nt a reseller😊great video❤
My goodness pat you hit so many great points here that hit me. So much to do around the house so much stuff sitting as a death pile money pile and the grind is hard. RUclips is tough been doing it 4 plus years and wish we could catch a break been consistent and dont give up would love some help. Help others all the time and wish couls get a little lift. Average sales need to be higher for sure in order to not have to do so much. Amazon going down hill for us also and think we may get out. Just bulding ebay and now sell on hibid which i see some great potential in. So glad i had this video pop up.
Whatnot is not for the everyday man if you are big youtuber you made it for sure. Little people grind it out and consistent and do not make it. I cant do that. Tried and it wasnt gonna happen. Need to just have right personality and big social media or maybe even just the "big" stuff people are searching for.
Pat you are the nicest person on RUclips BUT I think you are addicted to the flip. I know. Been there. Gave up reselling and auctions for 6 years. My husband who has been very successful in business told me a long time ago that I had to sell higher end items. He told me I was working too hard for a 5 and 10 dollar profit. I listened am now very selective in what I flip. Higher end items. It’s difficult to walk away from a deal but I am keeping it under control.
I agree really - the pallets were and are nice but not everything can be sold through an easy channel - having to sell at flea market, whatnot, ebay and amazon has been alot of work. Ideally being able to sell - $10 items on amazon is nice with a $3.00 margin and selling 500-700 a month is nice , selling 500 of something on ebay at christmas time is also nice but then there comes the $2 - $3 items that you have to sell at flea market and then sell $10 items for under $5 on whatnot is also tough = thanks for nice comment and talking shop
Flea Markets are getting tougher now. The economy is all messed up. Inflation is kicking everybody hard. Food costs and daily living expenses. I set up at the flea market and always have cheap bargain prices but now fewer buyers and looking to get things for almost free. Weather has been cool and rain lately. I hope things pick up this summer and early fall. Hopefully the upcoming election won't mess things up more.
yes its for sure a grind - we have had rain every weekend this year but 2 . i plan to do more flea markets as i need to sell stuff - im not in storage unit business - thinking next year putting up metal building on my property to then use those storage fees to own the building.
Pat, thought about you last night while watching a new series on The History Channel called 'How Disney Made America'. Fascinating - you would absolutely love it.
