13 years ago, this was the song that got me obsessed with DGD. The ending specifically. BTW, during this Era of dgd the clean vocals are Johnny Craig, unclean is Jon Mess. Jon mess has been on every dgd album except for happiness I believe.
This album is able to be played on full repeat, starting from the first track to the last track, then repeat. This song being the last song of the album. ...then the next song is the outro song for the album
Love that you are enjoying them as much as I have over the years. Would love to reccomend a song but if you plan on taking the journey through their discography you will not be disappointed. Keep up the fun vids, Enjoy
You have to go through the death star album now! Dude Alex English starts off the album. You gotta start there! But first finish off this album with 12 hours 630 miles! Edit: yep totally forgot you missed a song on this album. Turn off the lights, I'm watching Back to the Future pt.1
Jonny Craig on clean vocals Jon Mess on uncleans Will Swan on guitar Sean O'Sullivan on guitar Eric Lodge on bass Matt Mingus on drums So you're totally right, you might as well know by now haha but after this album, only Mess, Swan, and Mingus stick around and they really are the most consistent members of the band. If you continue in order after this album, you'll run into Kurt Travis and then Will Swan does some screams for a bit. Original lineup comes back for a DBM sequel, then Tilian Pearson shows up and that's the solid lineup from then on. There is your history you didn't ask for but I figured I would condense it lol other musicians pop up over the years but the most notable is Tim Ferrick on bass, dude is a legend.
@@chrisliftstv Lol if you ever need a quick reference, just come back to this comment! Kurt is kind of a fan favorite and he is great, all 3 clean vocalists have their strengths but these days I'm more partial to Tilian. I think this band has a really consistent quality while changing up the sound quite a bit, hope you stay on the DGD journey :D
After this album you should go straight to downtown battle mountain 2. Or check out their first EP. they both have the same singer. (and in my opinion the best of the 3)
JC is most definitely the best singer of the three of them. Tillian has the higher voice, but JC is the mid-light tenor like the Weeknd with a voice full of soul.
Please do yourself a favor and check The Ghost Inside. They dropped a new song/video called Aftermath. They have risen from tragedy and it’s such an inspirational song. 😀
It's sad and beautiful knowing they'll NEVER make a masterpiece of an album like this again.... EVERY song on there is a banger for me

@@SkillOPill I know, I said Jon mess not Johnny craig
@@carveking ah shit. My bad
jonny is hard kurt is hard as fuck
jon mess is the goat
The outro is a transition into 12 hours, 630 miles.
The "I believe there's meaning No, I believe there's nothing" from jon mess is also used in Untitled by them. 6:15

This is a good song to listen to for when you eventually get to their song Evaporate. These guys are great at callbacks.
Yup, Zelda references 😏
"Stand back, let go!"
ayee hope you like all their other albums cause they dont have a bad one

Also my dude, doing this in real time, that outro is exactly what you thought haha. If you play them together it blends really well!
No way, I appreciate the info!

You have to listen to the songs in order it tells a story

The title doesnt relate to the songs lyrics lol. But an epic song non the less. One of their best from the Downtown Battle Mountain series.
Wait you're from Indiana?
The land of no popular person ever XD
