  • Hey all!
    This is a different style of video than I'm used to doing -- it's way more unscripted and just sort of me rambling about entry point lol
    Let me know if you're more interested in seeing this sort of content, I'm trying something new.

    Honestly, I love the EP story. Really well-crafted and better than some AAA games. It really made me think wether or not some of the things I do are worth it. Sometimes, my only motivation for something i hatred or jealousy. Is that right? Entry Point thought me that acomplishing your objectives won't always feel satisfying. When the source of that goal is negative emotions, all you get is "ashes". There's no sense of completion. Something tells me CIshashto made this story based on a personal experience. We've all went through something like this. Work so hard, just to reach the end and stare at an empty void: no happyness, no sadness. It's all useless. Sometimes, it's better to just walk away. Yes, Entry Point does have a morale.

      This is why we need to have a light at the end of the tunnel. As (I think) C. S. Lewis said, (something like this) “The fact that we can find no fulfillment on this earth means that we were made for a different world.” Not a different planet, but a new world, one without brokenness. But the good news is that God gave us that hope. He sent his own son down to earth to die for our sins. But the amazing news is that he didn’t just die, he rose again and now has given us that light at the end of the tunnel. Because of his love for us, all who believe in him and confess him as Lord of their life, shall be saved.

    I think that one point that many of us have overlooked, or simply haven't bothered to mention, was the very name of the war between Halcyon and Phoenix, the "Shadow War". Their entire conflict, one filled with sacrifice, sorrow, death, betrayal, and revenge, happened in the shadows of society. "Did we really make a difference?" holds so much importance to the context of Entry Point, because the truth is, we didn't. Yeah, maybe we made a few lists on government agencies, one or two headlines for going loud in operations that went down in public, but at the end of the day, the world moves on. Everything that we did, ever so grandeur in its impact on the Shadow War, means nothing to the rest of the world.
    Personally, another big moral/lesson of Entry Point is our insignificance as individuals. The entirety of the Freelancer's adventures is symbolic of an entire life, and how despite everything that they went through, the emotions, the betrayal, the trauma, really meant nothing to the world.

    • @ChosenPlayer100
      @ChosenPlayer100 6 месяцев назад

      True
      But its somewhat of a good thing that it didn't really matter, that it didn't affect the whole world
      Because if Halcyon won, they could've used the Onyx Project on the whole world
      But in the end it creates history but it still really meant nothing (except for those who were affected, well that is if halcyon actually succeeded)

    • @aloesapling
      @aloesapling 6 месяцев назад +4

      life of anyone being insignificant is a bad way of thinking about life. No life is insignificant even in entry point, no matter how much it did or didn't matter to the outside world, everything that went on mattered to the ones in the inside world. They were all mutually significant of each other. Thinking about how insignificant you are to the world does not lead to any good, rather you should think about it like this: you're significant, the only thing that ever changes is who your significant too. You shouldn't work to be more significant to others, you should work on caring for and about those you are significant. Sorry if I'm killing the mood a bit, but I still managed to intertwine an entry point take there too at the very least lol

    The moral is quite simple, present in ancient times in all text that talk about morality, said in some phrases such as in the Bible "Live by the sword, die by the sword."
    Once you've got into halcyon there is no way out, the reaper is out for you, it will kill you physically or make your life, your mind and soul, be damned, the moment you join halcyon you are going to regret it eternally.
    You aren't dying a hero, your only sword will be the weapon used to kill heroes, you're the villain and an anti-hero, you are a criminal, you aren't working for the goverment, your cause might be noble, but you won't make it anywhere, the crows will fill the vacum of power and another criminal organization will rise again, another
    You were never meant to live this far, your story should have ended with harvey shooting you at the back, you were a pawn back then, and you always were meant to be one, to do the most noble of acts, yet the most costly of acts, sacrifice.
    You didn't need to storm that bunker, halcyon was doomed when their existance went public.
    The moral is the fact that retaliation, revenge and crime makes more enemies than friends, and eventually, it'll kill all of you 1 by 1, all in the shadows, no one will know you stepped foot on this earth, and your legacy gone forever.

    İm so tired of Roblox and its bullshit but this game called entry point was the only thing made me play on this idiotic platform. İ love entry point, its like a gold hidden in a rubbish and I'm proud to be found and understood. it even got its own wiki that made by a die hard fans i guess which is very rare for roblox. İ don't hate roblox it self i hate the company and the dumb parts of the comminty of roblox. (And i hate where roblox is going but sadly no one can do anything abaout it.)

    In the beginning I thought that I was the only one who is good, and everyday a new update makes me feel like that is real. But Yet we got a lot question marks on us yet. Like Who was actual Bad side of this? Are we just witnessing a brother like war. Like in film one good friend becomes the worst enemy.. I dont yet what is true. I only didnt read the black dusk code messages, but looks like Me and some others were wasted. Maybe we were bad too. Well lets see what they gonna do on operators yeah?

    if halcyon was destroyed and if phoenix actually stoped doing criminal operations then i think ep had not bad ending at all because getting rid of the two really dangerous organizacions and terminator (freelancer) who did many and many armed robberies that left many people six feet under (both innocent andnot innocent) while reaviling a bit truh that SCRS had to do something with halcyon bunker for some reason, isnt bad for the future, the question now is if destroying halcyon took less innocent lives than saving them by destroying halcyon. i am not sure that phoenix is leaving doing criminal stuff but even is it will not stop, it is still way less dangerous that halcyon could be.

  • @tsaroftheunion
    @tsaroftheunion 6 месяцев назад

    There's a motto in the SCP Foundation, "We die in the dark so you can live in the light", and the meaning behind it is that the Foundation goes through absolute hell so everyone else can just be oblivious to what's going on. I relate this heavily to Rose's epilogue quote, of how even though both organizations soon fall, it was the Shadow War. In the end, they both died in the dark, but following Spero's proposed moral: nobody lived in the light from that act of revenge.

    • @nikolettaheigl3771
      @nikolettaheigl3771 6 месяцев назад

      Actually…I know that Motto. It has deep meaning. If we take out SCP out of it I think of Epilouge. When we(Freelancer) dies. Sacrified for the better.

    • @tsaroftheunion
      @tsaroftheunion 6 месяцев назад

      @@nikolettaheigl3771 I think the point is more that the Freelancer's sacrifice was definitely a great boost for Phoenix, but the entire fact that Halcyon and Phoenix's battles amounted to almost nothing in people's everyday lives but the dissolution of both organizations that nobody knows about is what really matters here.
