The freelancer was the original owner of the gun given by Harvey, then in the black site he gave it to rose during her breakout and keep it as her weapon. When she was killed I presume the custom raven was taken by falcon and given to the director due to him was the one killing Rose. In the end Jackdaw retrieve it back from his penthouse and killed him with it

@@whydoiexist9661 It doesn't have anything to do with who it's facing at, but it symbolizes the Shadow War being over. In the Epilogue, we see that the bullet chamber of the Raven is facing outwards, meaning that there was still work to do (killing the Director). In Sunset, the bullet chamber is facing away from the camera, showing that Jackdaw has overcome his vengeful and manipulative phase.

@@LarryTheTugaGamer1511 I guess it's because most of us played since the beginning, and your character, 'The Freelancer' was both 'The Freelancer', and also a representation of you. Just as we were attached to the game from the very start, we are also attached to our character too in some way.
So all of it ending, both the game and the story, has a significant impact on all of us. I think people who start playing Entry Point now and complete the Story mode won't have that much of a similar experience to what all of us had, as we grew with the game. Not always did we have the entire Story mode to play, the Story was gradually revealed to us, and that's what made our experiences unique.
So when it all ended... I guess it hit harder than we all expected it to.

“The Boston Four” is one of the big operations and plot that all only heard in code, Curious if anyone could write detailed fanfic or animation based of it.
But seriously there’s alot of deeper plot about the game we probably don’t know. Because we mostly focused on main part of the game, even game dialogues giveaway some background story we hardly remember them.
To be honest, this is really incredible story writing even for a game in ROBLOX. We didn’t give a crap about who’s Amera is and we been using her as weapon provider for MM20 and Sawblade.

    This game is something else...
Out of all of my years on Roblox, this has to be one of my favourite games of all time. The fact that this game even exists and it's on Roblox is still crazy for me to come to terms with, Roblox games back then were nothing like this.
This video was absolutely fantastic, it really did the story justice and helped me understand it more. Never did I ever think that this 'cool game' on Roblox would make me almost get emotional. From years ago when I first started playing this game, I loved it, the story was intriguing, the concept was epic, and yet, I didn't think all of it would become what it is today.
I'm still shook by the ending of Entry Point, both of them, as in the Story's ending and also Entry Point itself ending. I don't really know what else to say, but... yeah.

@@kaiffuaintmywaifu75 I just remembered your comment and returned to say that, even though it may not have meant something to you or you didn't find the story to be meaningful in any way, doesn't mean that others didn't.
The story itself may not have been as good as Titanic or other high quality stories in movies if you want a 'sad story', but for many people, such as myself, we were there from the start of the game and we saw the game develop. Just playing through and speedrunning the story mode now, when the game is finished, you won't get the same experience that people me did.
The story had a different sense of weight to it as a result of being there in Entry Point when there was no story at the time, and when the story was being added to the game, it was in a non-linear fashion, so seeing it all come together after 3 years is something quite special to many, and it did hit different when it all came to an end.
So going to a couple of comments of people simply appreciating the game and telling them that it 'isn't a sad story', especially with a certain subtle condescending tone, that isn't really a nice thing to do.
If you didn't like it, that's completely fine, but don't go to people who did and tell them basically that 'their opinion is wrong', funnily enough, from your opinion.

And now with the file found in The Concept, Entry Points story might be even sadder for Rise and the freelancer.
The file is mostly illegible, with onu a few words being distinguishable. But with some assumptions that fit over all the blank spaces, it seems to be a conversation between Rose and Falcon about faking Rose’s death to get Halcyon off her back. If this is true, then the Killhouse could actually be Rose visiting the freelancers memorial.
It would also make the freelancers death sadder. Since The freelancer thought they were avenging the death of Rose, so their death, in a way, was for nothing. It’s also sadder for Rose, since she probably never assumed Jackdaw would use her “death” to manipulate the he freelancer into joining Phoenix and eliminating Falcon.

July 2019, I was... Somewhat depressed, I landed myself a night in the hospital in the recent months cause I thought I had something serious, even if it was a simple case of asthma, the fright still took it's toll on me. Yes you could say I was totally fine, and in some way, I think I was. But I can never fully articulate what my life was like at the time. Then as I was looking through my suggestions in the main menu, I eyed a particular game that caught my attention, "Hey, isn't that the 'spy game' Sketch was talking about last year?"
I clicked on it, remembering how this 'Entry Point' caught my interest, after the tutorial I saw that the devs- THE DEV made quite the progress, there was the Deposit, The Financier, The Withdrawal & The Blacksite. A little while later after a few missions, I was up to speed with the story, and I was obsessed. Weather I was avoiding detection or blazing bullets, making new friends, and getting hyped up for each update, I was basically living in a story.
It's been nearly two years since I started playing, and life even in the pandemic has been better. I don't care if the majority are too nervous to try this gem out, if we'll be hidden in the archives forever. To me this tiny community is what really makes this one of the best indie titles out there.

Ok, true, the bad guys don't die, there are few survivors in Black Dusk stated by the Black Dusk lock file, as it says "enemies defected to the enemy organisation." Meaning that they sought shelter at Phoenix with nowhere else to go. With nobody to run Halcyon, the organisation came to a close and was ultimately shut down, Phoenix was just a normal company like any other. I get that nobody is meant to be satisfied, but with the satisfaction that we turn over to the winning side, it's good to know that we win regardless.

If I had to make a Theory, I‘d say the Freelancer Sabotaged the Lift by himself. This may sound weird at first, but think about it. The Freelancer and Rose were in some kind of Relationship, they simply couldn’t live without each other but the Freelancer wanted Revenge first so he took the Halcyon Base down with him.
Jackdaw is also a little bit of Father Figure, since he called the Freelancer Kid and not by his Name. I wouldn’t be Surprised if the Freelancer would be his Child.

I recently stared replaying the game and I forgot how deeply sad and truthful the story is. Ive never gotten this close to crying to a game ever. This game was what I played looking for more games like Notoriety (which little me didn't know was a pay day copy) and it satisfied and even made me feel better. I understand the ending had to be so real and reviewing the lore and these cutseens just hurts. I think what hurts me the most is that I was apart of the story, I was the freelancer and all the characters eventually died except Jackdaw who himself had to suffer because of his actions of revenge. I never paid to play the extra levels but the dreams feel very FNAF "I will put you back together" even though I know the story ends there. It just proves that revenge is never the option and although it hurts knwoing that the story ends in this very condescending way, its a realistic and truthful story also reminding the player that violence isn't the right option. Sadly a sequel as much as I'd want one wouldn't make sense. The music was also such a banger in this game and the last scene and credits really just hurt. I wish an official story of this game came out and if I ever made a game or book I'd take huge inspiration from this beautiful yet sad story. Overall just an amazing game that competes and maybe even surpasses pooular games today through their story and gameplay. Y'all should be proud. I just felt obligated to make post this message because I, dead ass, felt so sad I needed to get them emotions out. Bravo!

been playin since end of 2019, the game changed so much and I gotta say it reached the podium of crime genre games in Roblox. The storyline was excellent, there's multiple options and freedom in the game, I like how the game started releasing the lore towards the end, where we get the lore and the motivation of playing every bit of the story. As a former Notoriety player, I'm surprised that Cish took a different approach, truly made the game like a TV series, EP really attached me emotionally at the end, I played the storyline again, it's great. I'm not seeking for a deep story, while the ending's harsh, the story itself never displayed any sign of emotion, what really makes the game stand out. Made me think of GTA games, the game play's awesome, but also showing that crime is nothin cool. Ep's a deep emotional game that I feel that we don't quite deserve. Nice work Cish.

Entry point never was meant to be fulfilling, it tells a story of morals, revenge and ashes. like rose said, we never always did the right thing. rose didn't want jackdaw to take revenge. Even jackdaw knew it wouldn't bring any peace or happiness, and he warned the freelancer about how it would only bring ashes. The freelancer ended up down the same path as jackdaw, taking revenge against halcyon because they killed rose. The freelancer thought that this would be the best possible outcome, but rose didn't want it to end like that. The details and the emotions make entry point most likely the best game on Roblox. It goes past the "lego kids game" into a game that leaves you in suspense, and in tears. It's better than most games developed by a full team of professional devs. It will hopefully go down in history as a legend. Thank you cishshato.
