    I'm really excited for this. And I'm happy for Bethesda keeping developing their engine. I think it is quite underrated, and I'm glad not everything is developed in Unreal. Mods.

      The engine statement is very true - at the one hand, Gamebryo has its issues. At the other hand, releasing game on the same (even updated heavily, but still same) engine allows the modding community with 20+ years of experience apply this experience to the new mods in the best way possible.

      Oh man, for goddamn sure lmao. Real question is, though - who will be the local Nazeem? "Do you get to Alpha Centauri very often? Oh what am I saying, of course your rusty spacejunk don't".

      I just want the city guards to have light hearted and funny lines. "I used to be an explorer like you, until I took a phaser to the knee."

    I'm hoping this game will just be a more enhanced space version of Fallout 4 with wonderful mods to fulfill its potential. I am happy with that.
    I still Mod & play Fallout 4 so anything that "Just Works" as much or slightly better than, I am confident will be satisfactory personally speaking. 👍

    I am absolutely not interested in birthmarks on NPCs' faces or proper room lighting with hyper ray tracing effects. I'm interested in the story. I just hope that the dialogues will not be childish and simple. As for ME Andromeda, if you mod the game properly, it's playable. In my opinion, no one can beat the storytelling of Fallout 1, 2, ME trilogy or Dragon Age Origins. They are all focused on motion capture, 16 times the detail and to reflect the hair on the main character's nose in the eyes.

    I'm still only cauciously optimistic. The NPCs still feel very lifeless visually, and audibly. If nothing else though, it looks like a good game to turn my brain off to, and I do like how Bethesda sprinkles lore into their universes. Definitely looking forward to what the modding community does with this game, too.

    the game will fade into obscurity if they don't release modding tools. it looks like a fun enough game on its own, but i feel like they are spreading it too thin. they are trying to do too many things at the same time so most of the things are just mediocre at best. like no mans sky at the start.

    Based on this video, it does not seem to take into account the most recent showcase of the game. I would suggest using that for your outlook more than the 2022 look, it certainly seems way more polished than befote

    • @SinitarG
      @SinitarG  Год назад +1

      I rendered this video just a bit before the latest gameplay showcase was released, yes. I also watched yesterday's showcase fully though, and practically, there's barely any difference in both visual look of the game and combat gameplay (which makes sense as couple of months between these showcases is almost nothing compared to many years game was under development), so the latest showcase would only add a few different slides to my video (as Beth showed a few other planets, NPCs and weapons).
      Whatever Starfield we saw both few months ago and yesterday, it's what will be at the release, with probably only some performance improvements, if even.

    I'm having more hopes w/ Avowed than Starfield tbh. Tho I hope both games turn out good, regardless. 🤞

    • @SinitarG
      @SinitarG  Год назад +2

      To me right now, Avowed looks like the Outer Worlds with swords instead of blasters. But that's just the visual part of it. Hopefully, they can do the RPG part right - but there's no guarantee of that, as Obsidian is a shade of a former self as for today. I'd be happy to be proven wrong, though.

    to be honest. I dont care. They have sat on Fallout and wasted it by maintaining support for Fallout 76 and retconning the lore of the Brotherhood. ESO gets constant DLC and updates. We get nothing for single-player news for Elder Scrolls 6. And no, i dont care if its a " different company" argument. Bethesda still publishes ESO content.
    So whats the excuse for not releasing anything Singleplayer related for Elder Scrolls.

    I'm playing and I've already uninstalled it, this game is terrible, the gameplay is practically the same as fallout 4 but the graphics remind me of skyrim from 2011, I'd rather play fallout or skyrim with mods than waste time with this garbage.
