Blue Ridge Tunnel Trail | Skyline drive | Afton VA

Located near the southern end of skyline drive, this tunnel is one of the lesser known attractions in VA. You can park on either the East end or the West end and walk about a mile to the tunnel.
Flash light is a must, and the tunnel gets very dark as you walk inside. Temperature drops by at least 10 to 15"F and there is water dripping everywhere, so dress appropriately.
Tunnel is about 0.8 miles long, so the round trip will be around 3 miles. We loved it.
