As a senior preppy a vintage Burberry DB trench is a must, Bass pennies, flat caps, a good crush Fedora, single buckle Monk, a British hunting jacket vs Barbour, a Seiko Diver, Harris Tweed sports jacket .....additions are welcomed. LOVE YOUR EFFORTS HERE, KEEP IT UP!!!

I love me a good shawl-collar cardigan. Shawl collar pullovers, not so much, unless it has a nice button or toggle. Also, if I could make a recommendation, give yourself a bit less headroom in the frame. Also maybe position yourself to the side so that you could have a picture next to you. "Rule of thirds" is your best friend, I find. Other than that, great video. I even learned a new term: tattersall, which I know I've seen but never knew the name of!
This is a pretty good preppy style guide; other ones I’ve viewed were too conservative and crossed the line too much into the related-but-more formal Ivy League style.
Nicholas, you did an awesome job in this video! I plan on getting some cords here before the end of November. I did have style question for you though when it comes to button-down shirts do you think they should always be tucked with pants like denim/chinos or is it ok to untuck?
Thank you, I'm so happy you liked the video. I mostly personally prefer the shirt tucked in. Nowadays it is perfectly acceptable wear your shirt untucked depending on the occasion, such as less formal ones.
Definitely a great coat! It's hard to limit the pieces down to a few essentials. I was thinking that I should do another video to cover some additional items. What other items do you think should be included?
I much prefer a flat cap or baker boy for my personal taste. I didn't find the flat cap prevalent a piece to include it over the baseball cap. Thanks for the comment.

Overall great job, I would add a navy wool pea coat, a wool duffel coat (preferably Burberry), cashmere V-neck sweaters.
