Thanks for listening :-)
Bortkiewicz represents a composer whose real value of his piano works, in my opinion, has never emerged posthumously, as he would have deserved. The musical reasons for this escape me. There are many compositions of the highest level, for example the Preludes op. 33 (in particular n. 8, the one in D Flat Major); the Lamentations and Consolations op. 17; the Study in D Flat Major op. 15 n. 8 and much more. Would you like to post the Prelude in E Flat Minor op. 6 n. 1, an admirable page that I find particularly akin to his artistic nature so prone to melancholy expressed in music. Thanks for the wonderful post!
I completely agree. The Nocturne op.24 (Diana), for example, is an absolute masterpiece.
I can't stop getting surprised each time I lusten to Bortkievič, by the stunning harmonic subtleties that form a sophisticated lace of sound to pamper his singing melodies
Wonderful composition from a fantastic Ukrainian composer. Really deserves to be played and heard more.
I didn't even know that Bortkiewicz had a whole another set of preludes under op. 13. More and more of his music is being brought to light
I have no words.. it's so beautiful
bortkievicz was a fantastic composer
@@PianoScoreVids and he lived finally in Vienna
Beautiful composition, reminds me a bit of Paderewski's Nocturne. Very well played. ❤️
Beautiful - Bortkiewicz is really a first rate composer. Would love to hear you in one of the etudes.
Magnifique Julian, thanks a lot for your marvellous interprétation 💫
I'm in LOVE.. Thank you so much Bortkiewicz!!
love this, theres definetly remarks throughout the piece about one of his famous concerto "prinz igor"
thank you so much for all the exposure you’ve given us to lesser known music. i really cant wait to try and play this one
Exquisite interpretation. Thank you.
Красивая и светлая музыка) благодарю)
I like this piece very much...
Learning this piece at the moment - it's absolutely gorgeous !
Beautiful!
Wonderful
How lovely, love Bortkiewcz. 🌷🌷🌷 Thank you Gamma 1734. (Netherlands)
Knocked me over, so good.
Absolut traumhaft 🤩
Fantastic!! ❤️
Wonderful, as always Gamma1734! (What happened with the second G-flat at 0:41 and 3:33?)
Same question here 🤔 not that the E flat instead is not beautiful as well 😉
Гениально...
Be honest with you all, this was in my Mix list along side FFXIV's Great Gubal Library (Hard) theme, and it took me a moment of having it play in the background to realize I had clicked on the wrong video.
Beautiful💐
Good music 🎶🎹
I’m assuming in order to get this good at learning pieces this fast you’d have to be a good sight reader. Do you have any tips on that?
Practise. All reading is sight reading. You get better at reading by reading a lot.
You should try to play the 2nd piano concerto op 28.....a real gem 😍
💜❤🧡💘😇
Very pretty.
Gamma I've got a question, at 1:29, is that D that plays left hand flat or natural? Because it sounds better as D natural, but it is flat in the key armor...
👍👍👍
👌
It really reminds me of spanish music.
You're right, the piece does have an Albeniz feel. Especially in how the melody is handled
very nocturnish
Thanks for sharing! Where can I find the score in PDF or Word?
mi fa pensare a Chopin, commovente!!
Third measure from the end, four bass notes, LOL.
Is this d-flat major or f- minor?Anyway beautiful and very well done.
The major for 4 flats is A flat major.
@@NormalPianist Got confused, you are so right ofcourse, but what then is the answer to my question?
I a can see for myself now,it's Aflat,-major
к сожалению, малоизвестен. относится к последним классикам, возглавляемым Рахманиновым
Great composer. Chopin is over rated. And I graduated from Juilliard.
@@pianoatthirty I play nothing but rare seldom played works by composers I’ve never heard of. Wonderful parallel repertoire out there .
@@pianoatthirty actually seldom played should have been written as never played
Odio los Mix.
Another Rachmaninoff...
